    Is Your Money Disappearing?

I received this as a link in an investment newsletter earlier in the week. The newsletter is usually pretty good about only reporting accurate info....but this seems a bit odd to me. As conspiracy theories go this one might make sense at some time in the future.....but REALLY? What do you guays think about this one? Sorry its a bit long but if you listen to the whole thing it WILL make you think.

The author of this is not the financial newsletter that I subscribe to. This is simply a link that was posted in the newsletter that I receive. I don't know anything about the Oxford Club

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

The first thing that came to my mind was how the world was going to end at the stroke of midnight on Dec. 31 1999.

At that time all the computers in the world would not be ready to handle the monumental change into the next millennium.....and all computers would be useless.

On the morning of Jan 1 2000 I turned my computer on and the world was still there.

Let me quote part of my first post......"As conspiracy theories go this one might make sense at some time in the future". Which means that I don't believe it. I was asking if anyone knew any more about this.....not that I believe this author.

lol, Nothing like that can happen over night. But like I said in the first post things could be leading that way. Some of it does make sense to me. Not that I'm going to run out and do anything about it. I was just wondering if any of you had ever heard of this "concept" before. At this time its al BS news to me.

How the hell could this even work? So all the starving ethopian citizens will have smart phones? Hell I don't even have one. I pay freakin cash for everything except internet purchases. I even pay my household bills and credit cards with cash. If you want to hide your cash money payments just go to walmart and buy MoneyGram money orders to pay your bills and such.....

I get this shit all the time as well. I thought this one was kind of interesting but IDK how the hell the gobments can implement it...It surely can't happen overnight and that's not what the author is saying anyway.

Where is Tom when we need him.

on a side note tho....If you are old enough you can see lots of things over the years that we learned about that we thought could never happen....but they did happen eventually. You all know the world is controlled by the money people. Their plan is long term and slow moving. 50 years ago there were lots of things we thought couldn't happen.....that eventually did...once everything was in place.

Longest sales pitch ever? Expert use of hyperbole, but lacks substance. Cash is on the decline, but the real danger is tracking by the government. Nothing will happen to the financial market due to digital currency aside from the usual manipulations by the usual suspects. Money is just made up bullshit. It's a mass delusion practiced by the world, and new made up bullshit isn't any worse than old made up bullshit.

Good point. I'll just throw out that crappy Marlboro snus and keep a fiver in my sock for the cheap hookers.

Any point at all? about half way if I remember right. A good point? Never :^D

It was the typical infomercial come on. Lots of hyperbole, misleading "facts", and data omitted. They appeal to "authority" without disclosing the source. Instead of just giving the awesome information they say they want you to have, you have to order it, and they'll send it to you. I guess they never heard of PDFs :^S

That how some of those those marketing outfits do it. They peak your curiosity or appeal to your fear to get you to purchase the newsletter or whatever they are hawking.

The point is that sure someday actual money may be worthless and it will all be electronic. What this outfit is saying is that some company will make a ton of money when that does happen, true enough. They want you to invest into that company. What sparked my interest, or rather disgust, is the fact that when that does happen the government will know all your financial info. As a citizen that deals mostly in cash, its quite the invasion of privacy.

I tend to agree. No single company is going to be making tons of money though. It'll be spread out amongst the banking elite, just as it is today. The government tracking is a real concern. Bitcoin addresses that somewhat, but you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to make it truly anonymous. There needs to be a digital currency that's anonymous by default.
