    Hasta Luego (for a while)

So I leave tomorrow morning for Coast Guard basic and will be out for a couple of months. I don't talk much on here, but enjoy reading tips/tricks/reviews and general discussions. I'm going to have to go snus free for those 8 weeks and look forward to getting back and seeing if there are any new brands or flavors that have popped up while I'm out. See you folks later!

          I'm back!

I'm done! Yehawww. Basic wasn't that bad. First 4 or 5 weeks really sucked then it got easier. Last week was awesome as our company commanders joked around with us constantly and didn't care if we laughed.

So. Any snusers in the D.C. area? My first duty station is in Alexandria, VA. I'm going to be on the USCG Honor Guard. One of my first an probably biggest jobs while on honor guard will be taking part in the innauguration (spelling?) at the first of the year. I'll be marching in the parade and have some other job, like lining the steps of the capitol, passing in reveiw on the white house lawn, or another duty along those lines. I can't wait, its going to be awesome. I also plan on volunteering to be a body bearer. The funerals will be sad stuff but it will be awesome serving those who served before me in our nations capital at arlington national cemetery.

So, that's what I'll be up to, and I'm glad to be back. (Sort of, only at home for one night.... start driving north tomorrow). Can't wait to make my order! 2 months without snus.... I'll try not to go overboard.

I echo Sage's sentiment Texan! I come from a long line of Navy men (I couldn't serve, health issues kept me from passing the physical) and, the CG is a pretty big part of Chicago and Lake Michigan. Good Luck in Alexandria and, check in once you get a chance!
