Very true, look at continental Europe, beautiful architecture, then our post war efforts!! It's embarrassing.

Oh I don't know about that? Have you ever been to Sarcelles? Or any of the other similarly rank ghettos they built about 30 miles away from the centre of Paris after the war. I've never felt less safe anywhere in my life and the architecture is like a prison camp. It's not all pompidou centres!

They were always intended as slums though,so they did a good job!
