In Sochi, Russia, Don’t Touch The Water

CBSlocal.Chicago ^ |Well in Sochi, Russia, you had better not TOUCH the water, either.
When Chicago Tribune reporter Stacy St. Clair, who is covering the Winter Olympics for the newspaper, arrived at her hotel, she was informed that there was a problem with the water and it had been shut off.
Then hotel staff delivered an ominous warning: “Do not use on your face because it contains something very dangerous.”
Her tweet about the situation has gone viral.

My hotel has no water. If restored, the front desk says, "do not use on your face because it contains something very dangerous." #Sochi2014—

Water was eventually restored, but it came out of the tap in a less than appealing color. (See above.)

Not surprised at all. If you're not an oligarch Russia is a third world country, always has been and always will be, I have no desire to go back there.

I've been on the border there though. Didn't like the place at all.

In fact, there are very few places in the world I actually liked. I liked Australia but didn't much like the Australians - they've got this pommie thing going on which gets extremely tiresome and childish after the 50 zillionth time.....especially when you're quite obviously Irish.

I have a pretty big fascination for New Zealand.
