DARK brown, almost black, very light head. Chocolatey, creamy malt initial flavor. A hint of sweetness, almost fruity. The heat of alcohol makes itself very well known on my tongue and in my throat. It has the boldness of an imperial, yet the smoothness of a cream ale.

im almost done with the 1st bottle. been sipping it for near an hour now... Yet the alcohol content is so obvious that I am feeling it (and I ate pasta for dinner).

I bet this would be even better straight out of a cellar cask :shock:

Nice to see some fellow brewers on here. I used to get about 2 or three all-grain batches going per month but now am lucky to brew twice a year. However, thanks to my recent divorce I should be back brewing full steam soon.

on a lighter note, my roommate and I are both in grad school (meaning we have a lot of procrastination time) and he does a fair amount of brewing with one of his friends, and if a few of the many bottles get consumed, nobody's ever the wiser.
