The point is that the FBI still hasn't updated their list - they still say those were the guys and they don't care that they're still alive. Asked in 2006 why 9/11 wasn't on Osama bin Laden's "wanted" profile but the African Embassy bombings were, a spokesman said frankly that they simply had no evidence connecting him with the event. The mission in Afghanistan, ostensibly, was to get Osama - that's it, and it's the only thing, after taking control of two sovereign nations, which hasn't been accomplished yet. Nobody in the current administration ever wanted anyone to pay for 9/11. Nobody cares. The mission, was to seize control of two strategic countries in the middle east - not to catch the bad guys. Because here it is, seven years later, and nobody yet knows even who the bad guys were.

^It pisses me off how America's government has used the excuse of the 9/11 attacks in order to forward their New World Order agenda. I'm also mad that America is posting permanent military bases in Iraq in order to have complete control over the Middle East. Why can't America just worry about their land and not that of others. I guess America is still into the whole global imperialism agenda like it was during the Cold War (invading Vietnam, secret operations that are still kept secret from American citizens etc...). I hope that McCain loses this election, because the last thing America needs is another neo-imperialist that wants to force Americanism throughout the world.

^^^ We're merely "defending" ourselves from those who "don't agree" with us. Why anyone would not agree with U.S. foreign policy is beyond me.

Taking it down to a smaller scale, would you attack an individual person for disagreeing with you?

That's exactly what the USA is doing, only on a much larger scale, which makes it all the more reprehensible.

Of course, because they would clearly be wrong, not to mention most likely a savage of some sort or other that needed adjusting, both mentally and physically.

"Reprehensible" is a relative term. Remember that we have Jesus on our side, which automatcially gives us moral superiority. Plus, He clearly agrees with us, otherwise He wouldn't provide us with such kickass weapons. Allah makes his people improvise.

Oh my god (or lack thereof), are you serious? I mean physically attack; so if somebody told you the moon is made of cheese, would you disagree by twatting them round the face?

Diplomacy is what is needed. In the above example you'd discuss why you disagree, and perhaps educate him about the facts. If you hit somebody, you expect them to hit back, which is why bombing countries into submission will never work, it's only stirring up more hatred.

                On another note:

It kind of cracks me up how some stuff doesn’t change. If you went to the year 1812, and polled Europe about Americans, you would get sniveling, nuanced little poots (yes I made that word up) mocking the self proclaimed and over simplified moral righteousness of Americans. If you polled Americans, you would get easily angered, toothless, yahoos talking about God’s preordained destiny of opening a can of kick ass on the archaic ideas of Europe.

Europe ****ed this world up a million times more then America. It's Europe's fault that the world, for better or worse, I obviously argue for the better, depends on America to stop tyranny and anarchy. The U.S. is the Dark Knight.

Sorry, I have been drinking. This may make no sense at all.

Diplomacy shiplomacy. America has shown time and time again that if you hit them with enough firepower they will stop fighting back. If they develop some sort of grudge, that's their fault, which may need to get smacked down again eventually. You must keep in mind that Jesus died for our sins, so we have to show our devotion somehow. And if we can make it good for our economy apart from being good for Jesus, then why the hell not?

Dead Rabbit is right. We are more than The Dark Night, we are lots of things out of comic books and movies. And of course the most important book of all, which I surely don't have to remind you about.

Heres how I deal with confrontation. This is also my siggy on one of my parrot sites.

"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him".
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I was just saying that I agree with you that the U.S. should base its identity on a comic book hero. Batman is a lot like Jesus, and unAmericanized countries are a lot like sin (obviously). So we should go above the law if we have to, even if it's international law, to smash sin wherever it lay. Just like Batman. The Dark Knight was the coolest movie ever.

I'll take a bust in the mouth from Wonder Woman anyday.

Jesus would never take vengeance on people like Batman, did he not say "turn the other cheek"?

I'm not saying that's right, if somebody is going to kill you you don't just let them.

To save me from ranting about "Christianity", this sums it up succinctly and amusingly:

I think I'm done debating (I know I said that before), but I shall just say that I don't think history will be kind to Bush, or McCain if he gets in. I fear for the future of the world. I just want to go to sleep and wake up when Starfleet is formed.
