There was alcohol prohibition in this country once. If the alcohol prohibition era happened today, it would also be a schedule I drug.

They went so far as to make a constitutional amendment banning it (only to repeal it later with another amendment). Schedule 2? I don't think so.

This is fairly open forum, with fairly open discussion; exactly what the internet is best at, and if everyone can control themselves, that's the way it'll remain.

I don't believe this. Just because it's a law means it's good? Our country is full of immoral laws which are designed by lobbyist and legislators to give some fat cat the advantage. I personally don't smoke pot but see nothing wrong with discussing it. Pot smoking is an issue that our states are making decisions about right now and the more information we get, the better. I really don't think your comparisons are valid in that you are saying anything that is illegal is bad regardless of what it actually is. If you have some terrible information about pot that is valid, please post it. I would love to see it. Our founding fathers were philosophers who liked to look at different views before making a decision. Politicians and legislators today no longer use philosophy to solve problems just legislation.

I admit I don't come here for pot talk but you seem to take it personally that people can talk about pot but can't post porn.
