That's the beauty of free speech, it's free. There's limits to everything, and you'll know it when you hit them ;^)

As for me, I'm out of this discussion. I'm not here to debate forum policy, or my personal moderation guidelines with you, or anyone else. I suggest you stay out of threads that don't interest you. I think that'll make everyone happier.

Minor possession being decriminalized is quite different than fully legal.

You know what? I am tired of the government making decisions about everything in my life from what I read to what I can use to wipe with in the bathroom. Perhaps we could save taxes by just minding our own business. I understand that sometimes laws are needed because they effect society as a whole but other than that our government should but out. I am an adult. Give me the information and let me make my own decisions.

correct they are processed. many south american country's use the coca plant like snus as a daily routine/energy boost. several types of mushrooms are poisonous and can/will kill you yet they are not eradicated or illegal.

No but it is not illegal in California if you have a prescription and I firmly believe in states rights even if I don't always agree with them.

Danielan, I understand your position but at this point it just smells like you're burning sage trying to cleanse the forum. I can dig the taking action to protect your "home" but you shouldn't expel anymore energy on it. Snusdog went to combine forums screwed up so they made another, I assure you the forum isn't going to turn into an abyss of illegal drug threads. If the latter does happen I will be more than happy to stand with you in bitching until the situation is handled the way you see fit.

Just curious danielan as you do seem very intelligent. What format changes would make the discussion of marijuana ok or should it just be banned completely? Would it be fine if someone where to come here and discussed flavored cigarettes or tobacco from Cuba?

I for one would rather have people smoking in the privacy of their own home than out drinking at bars and the possible wreck/dui scenario.

This is an international forum, and there's places where weed is quite legal. If we start getting a page full of weed threads, those will be shut down also. This is fairly open forum, with fairly open discussion; exactly what the internet is best at, and if everyone can control themselves, that's the way it'll remain.

That's one of the reasons why I started this thread. If you want to share anything related to cannabis, then look no further.

This all is nothing new for anyone who's been here for all of 10 minutes. The forum used to be mainly snus and other random BS, then politics came in, then dip came in, then every kind of tobacco etc. The "people and the world around us" section is the only thing keeping this site alive, I know no one wants to admit that but while everyone likes snus and loves discussing it, many spectators would just come look something up or ask a question and then leave if it wasn't for the "people and the world around us" section, most of our long standing members are all heavy contributors to this section of the forum and it is the reason why a lot of people stick around. There are no official rules other than Ice's request that we not post nude pictures but other than that it is self-regulating, and the management has always allowed things to self-regulate for the most part with a high degree of success. If it starts annoying everyone than there will be an uproar and it will be dealt with, but if instead everyone continues to post as usual and most people aren't offended than it will likely continue without intervention.

It's just what works, if we have a sudden influx of conspiracy nuts than that is what the forum becomes, if we have a sudden influx of people who like snuff than the forum becomes a discussion on snuff, most people here like the "people and the world around us" section and frankly I think we are famous (and infamous) for it. It's why we are better than other snus forums, we know how to draw a better crowd. Or you could interpret it as "we know how to draw in all the crazies", if that's your take than your going to have to weather it out until some people leave voluntarily.





@ Danielan: This forum is about harm reduction, and we like to tout harm reduction wherever possible. Marijuana falls into the category of harm reduction for a variety of reasons that you probably already know. Yes it is illegal, just like snus in many parts of the world, but we preach the safer route in all things, not just in our tobacco selection. I think MJ is as fit a topic as any, even more than politics if you ask me, for the sole reason that Marijuana is about harm reduction and some people just live better lives on MJ than on other legal drugs/pharmaceuticals, so I don't see why a community based around the concept of harm reduction would want to throw MJ under the bus for no reason when we have similar goals.

And again, MJ's legal status is akin to snus in many places. I can't buy snus at a liquor store in California but I can have MJ delivered to my door, free of charge, any time of day without notice or hassle. It's like this in about 15 states and multiple other countries.

Plus, if it all stays isolated to one thread than what's the harm?

If people insist on talking about their illegal drug use - it should be incidental. Not dedicated threads.

It's moved beyond the incidental conversation to people actually encouraging other people to use illegal drugs (isn't that a crime itself?) to an official, moderator suggested, thread in which people are reviewing and suggesting particular varieties/brands.

As an international tobacco forum, flavored cigarettes or tobacco from Cuba is obviously fine. (Although - there have been limits here too - about a year or so ago, when the other tobacco sub-forums were being created - it was decided that a "cigarette" sub-forum was not appropriate on a snus forum.)

Do you really want to be associated with an illegal drug forum? I wonder how that goes over in family court? I bet that will really help your custody case... What do your probation officers think of you visiting such a forum?

Should you be making these choices for other people who might care, but just want to talk about snus?

Really? hmmm I will need to make a note to myself about this. Stay away from snuson if I am ever placed on probation or in the midst of a nasty divorce. Thanks for the heads up!

Midnight Eclipse

The flowers are blue. Not purple, blue. Very tasty. Tastes like blueberries. I'll look into this strain more later, but it feels like an indica (or indica-dominant strain). Nice body effect, but not overwhelming. Perfect for daytime / social use.

I had a migraine attack earlier today, and my migraines went away completely after trying this strain.

I highly recommend this strain to migraine patients!
