    Bored in Vegas

Who would have thought a person staying 6 weeks in Vegas could get bored....

    I don't gamble
    I'm married
I really don't drink much alcohol

those three things kill about 98% of things to do here.

Anyone who knows Vegas have any ideas?

I got bored in Vegas, too. It was 115 degrees.

Went to an expensive strip club. What I remember was it was expensive.

Rent a car and drive up the the Hoover Dam.

Once you've seen Vegas.....you've seen it.

      Dan

      P.S.

I couldn't imagine spending six weeks there.

You're close to Hoover Dam. Or, take a hooker to a museum. There's a Mob Museum on Stewart Ave, if you like organized crime.

Haha on the mob comment. I think I had my first organized crime experience. At the oil change place and a rough looking oriental guy came in saying hurry hurry.

The he office lady pulls out a huge stack of 20's and counts them to the guy and says thanks. He nodded and left saying thanks. Either is was crime related or I'm just a simple country boy. Not sure which

The upside Dan is I have a kick ass new job as East Coast Regional Manager for Capriotti's. I'll tolerate Vegas for 6 weeks to work for such a cool company!

              congrats on the new job.

You could always go out into the desert and look/dig for bones. You might get lucky and find a body that might still be useable, if it hasn't decomposed too much. Why pay for hookers when nature can provide for you.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

You didn't mention a job in the opener.

A" kick ass job" puts a whole new light on the issue.

I was just a "guest" attending a national pool championship.

For a good job in Vegas: I'd get used to being bored.

                Still.....Vegas gets old real fast.

                Dan

That is just wrong on so many levels.........

However, there has got to be outdoor companies that lead expeditions into the desert ..........that might be cool.....I would imagine looking at the stars out there would be amazing..........or you could always go hang out with Chumly down at the pawn shop

Oh and congrats on the new Job..........I think you told us about it on another thread.....if memory serves me correctly.....if so......congrats again!
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

I just had a horrid mental image of PP scuffing his PP on an overly dry lady friend. It rained here today so it may not be that bad for him if he so chose to do that

I'm in Vegas at least 5 times a year, and everyone is right...once you've "done" Vegas, it's boring as hell. Congrats on the job, good luck. You'll find shit to do :-)

Prior to booking these (bold above): avoid any and all past stories about them.

If you really want to experience this type of tour just go ahead and book it. This falls under the category of not going online to search about your upcoming surgeries.
