    Faggots ... yea or nay?

It's a common conundrum these days isn't it? The faggot used to be a real treat at tea-time during the war, but the famous welsh meatball made from minced liver, bacon and heart from a pig is losing some of it's once glorious sheen and people are eating it less and less. I say bring back our faggots and make them trendy so everyone can once again experience how great it is to get up close and personal with their own favourite faggot.

I mean - can you remember the last time you had a faggot in your mouth? I certainly can't wait for the next time I have!

    Yum

I hate faggots, they disgust me, offal is a no go in this house, also I don't like anything welsh so a welsh faggot does not float my boat.

I'm sure Alfie would like to get his chops around a welsh faggot regardless of what you think!

He has, and he loved it! Although he will eat anything.

I HATE faggots. The name Mr Brains doesn't help.
Haggis is off the menu for me as well.
Although, I like sausages and burgers and they are probably worse so who knows!

Haggis is disgusting, but it doesn't disgust me as much as faggots do, faggots repulse me! The last faggot I had in my mouth made me sick!

You do like a thick faggot gravy, do you add extra salt?

No - mushy peas are the way our ancestors ate peas right up until the mid 1800s ... fresh peas were only a luxury for the aristocracy until then as they couldn't be stored without great expense and were only in season through the summer. Pease pudding is one of the great British culinary delights and up there with hummus as a delicious healthy pulse based spread/dip

You can buy an entire pigs head here in nz for three bucks, about two quid back home I believe. Its pretty disgusting fare really, but if you dont like your housemates its a good thing to leave in the fridge half eaten. Also if your poor , as I am

You could make yourself a nice traditional brawn out of that! It's no less disgusting than most French delicacies that come from animals - and it's delicious.

I don't eat meat at all - I think it's cruel. But I do like the programs by Huge Fearnely Wittingstall, he seems so manly when he is killing his pigs and making them in to things. He eats all his own vegetables also.
