    I'm glad to hear your many years of smoking hasn't put you in the grave. My doc recently made me do a stress test which I've not gotten the results of yet, but I think I passed. (30 year smoker by the way) At around the same time, I got my first orders of snus, and I've cut my smoking in half because of it. Others on this site have convinced me that as I get more accustomed to snus, the cig craving will pass. This week was the first where I used snus during meetings, and even my boss, who knows about it, didn't know I was juiced up with portions of Rape or Skurf during our long ass, boring meetings in which I would normally be nodding off!! Anyway, I'm glad to hear your ticker is fine...good food, exercise, and snus will hopefully turn things around. That's a wish for you....and me.

    I'll be watching for updates!!!! 8)

      'fraid so, aorta is 80% blocked on the 'y' piece that feeds the legs :shock:
      That bit got to be replaced.

          Update;

          Feck me these surgeons are clever
          Now three weeks since I underwent five hour operation, bi-femoral aortic graft bypass. I can walk again
          No leg pain at all now, up to walking a mile(slowly!)
          Feel like I've been hit by a train but huge improvement every day.
          Another few weeks until I can ride and drive, a total unqualified sucsess.

          Never again will I ever smoke.

          Thanks for all your kind thoughts, really appreciated.

          Pass the Nick and Jonny

            Congratulations on your success, bitwobbly! Glad to hear you're getting back on your feet, as it were...

            Sorry, laughter may be the best medicine, but I'm apparently not qualified to be a pharmacist.

                  Sounds all a bit scary, Bitwobbly, but I think and hope you're soon absolutely fit again!

                  Best wishes!
