    Life after snus

    Holla at all my hoes.

Haven't been here for a while since I quit snus quite some time ago, but just wanted to say I hope everyone here is doing well and hope everyone's health and family are good.

Quitting snus was super easy btw, I bought some nicotene gum (4mg) and while it was supposed to be a 12 week program I did it for like 5 days and then just stopped all together because the gum didnt do anything but piss me off, but surprisingly had literally zero withdrawals or anything, I was honestly kind of surprised how effortless it was after all those years of use.

I still love snus, I just had a substance abuse problem for many years that I had to really kick in the past 2 years and part of what helped me was eliminating anything that had the "get your fix, wait a while, get your fix" type of pattern to it.

Proud to report I am a year sober from all alcohol, cocaine, and everything else wrong I ever did in my life and now have my second kid on the way (my little girl just turned 5), and I just bought my first house. I also quit my dead end job and started my own business which is something I had always wanted but never could accomplish while having such a severe drinking problem.

Anyways, I left on kind of a weird note but I hope you all have love for me like I have for you. I spent some of my best years here chatting with folks from all over the globe and to this day haven't found a better group of guys.

I'm also assuming PP has gone David Carradine's way by now and was probably found in a closet hanging from the ceiling with his dick in hand and wearing a batman costume. If not than color me pleasantly surprised! (Love you PP!) Also I am assuming the dog is still finding his way into the garbage all too frequently!

DUDE...so good to hear from you. I am so very happy for you too, kicking the booze and the booger sugar, now that's an accomplishment!! Congrats on the coming kid and the new business too. As for Dog and PP...well, I think Dog is hanging in PP's closet and occasionally PP opens the door and fondles him, but just occasionally.

Don't be a stranger either....having snus in your life isn't a requirement for posting here :-)

Congratulations on making the decision to take your life in the direction you wanted and making it work! That's amazing news. The old adage that you have to go through the hard times to fully appreciate the good ones applies here I think.

Of course we love you and miss you when you're not around here ... I assume if you're not using snus then you'll be less frequent here than you were before - but do pop in occasionally and let us know how things are going.

Well done ! good to hear that you got rid of the drugs, myself have stopped using both snus and cigarettes after using for about 44 years, I just decided and ended abruptly no problem at all.

                      Great to see you back.

I'm glad you've seen the light regarding how substances have a negative effect. It took a long time for me to see it too regarding alcohol. I still have the odd drink but I drink very small amounts of alcohol these days, if and when I do drink.
These days I've got much more energy, work out pretty much every day and for the most part feel a million dollars. I was thinking about this the other day....it was having kids that did it. If I didn't have kids I'm positive I'd be going for an early grave and an unfulfilled life.

Looking forward to the sgreger debating machine getting going again.

Wow, that is awesome news. You made the changes you needed to make and are back on track. Amazing when you get out of your own way how your perspective changes and your life heads in a positive direction. Take care of the inner and the outer world changes to match. Again, congrats and best wishes to you and your family, as well as much success in your new business.

Thanks for all the love everyone! Just found out my second born that's on the way is going to be a boy today!

I've been out of the game for a while, what did I miss?

@Frosted: Yah man eating right and exercising is it's own high. honestly my life is just a million times better than it was before, even the best drugs can't bring sustained happiness like you can achieve by just doing right by your body and your family.
