I'm not an american but i don't know, maybe these new generations of americans will be more attracted to soccer, and then their kids an so on... it is a long process but maybe in a few decades, soccer will be really popular in the US, the level of your national team has vastly improved

Thanks Burnsey! It's going to be a really tough game against Netherlands but we have hope in our team.

Soccer is still popular in grade school, high school and college but has peaked imo again Lacrosse is the alternative sport to Football, Baseball and Basketball that is going to see the most growth going forward imo. Checkout the video below to see why. Lacrosse has the action, scoring and contact that Americans tend to crave.

It's fast becoming a popular sport here... Especially in Cascadia [British Columbia (Canada), Washington & Oregon (US)] -- The last time I checked the Top 50 World Attendance records, Seattle was the only American city that made the cut. We're slowly winning over our American brothers and sisters -- one game at a time

If you're visiting the US and you want an authentic football experience, look no further than the city of Seattle ---

Tomorrow is the big day for our USA team..........I am by no means an expert......but Germany seems a steep hill to climb
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

I actually played 2 years of varsity soccer (left wing) in HS but still an American Football fan at heart. But Worldcup I will be tuning in to cheer on USA...kinda like the Olympics to me you get into a sport as a fan during these type of world competitions.

Adios, Suarez. Out for nine games for biting like a school girl. They should remove his teeth, as well.
