so then explain the motivation behind invading iraq? Sadam Ussein was no boy scout but your intelligence knew he had nothing to do with 9/11 , his weapons of mass destruction were non existent . He was unpleasant but he sure was doing a better job than the guys now 'in charge' . The question remains why invade a country that posed no specific threat to the USA a country that happens to have large oil reserves, to spread democracy ? that's laughable . What business did the USA have coming to that country and basically creating chaos , if not oil then what? I don't think Frankie realises that Isis are killing muslims of different sects. THIS is the problem..what irritated me was that it took a western journalist to be murdered before anybody gave a sh** about what was happening within Iraq. This same group of terrorists..and that they most definitely are..are spreading like a cancer all over the middle east murdering their fellow Muslims, Christians ...basically anybody that doesn't agree with their religious belief system.

Yes i saw a documentary , or a series of documentaries by Vice magazine on them , and they are quite clearly insane , Indoctrinating and brainwashing children into their ranks .

I watched the raw video showing the massacre of 1700 Iraqi soldiers. I watched the Syrian massacre too.....I didn't watch the journalist because that's the one we weren't allowed to watch according to the police. Pathetic.

To be fair, I wouldn't have watched it anyway. I personally felt it important to watch the other videos as there is so much biased crap in the newspapers.

I think that what Frankie was objecting to was the use of nuclear weapons which would result in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people a great deal many of whom probably share as much if not understandably more contempt for ISIS. The fallout would spread , i don't know maybe to Iran , more enemies would be made more would be radicalised and a line would have been crossed which it would be very hard to go back across , leaving the use of nuclear force open as an option to other nations , possibly. Oh yes and the hundreds of thousands of dead people , on top of the other 650,000 odd dead people in that country already

Oh I just thought that was an expression of the rage he felt and wasn't to be taken literally. I don't think anybody sanely recommends the wiping out of innocent people.
Whilst terrorism was going on in Ireland some people from England would tar us all with the same brush where in fact about 98% of the population were totally innocent, held to ransom by the minority with the guns and bombs. There were quite a few quiet sympathisers though but they would mainly be found to be amongst the deprived areas.

as a response to something which seems typically American from my point of view: If there is a problem, they try to kill as many people as possible with as many American casualties as possible. The preferred way is to carpet-bomb towns indiscriminately, because precise targeting needs lower flight levels for the airplanes resulting in potential embarrassment as with the American invisible/invincible bomber shot down in Yugoslavia by a cheap second-hand rocket.

From that there is just a tiny step to real mass destruction, be it by vacuum bombs or nukes. And people like the original poster would cheer and laugh at the misery their country causes. And I fear that with a president like the Odumbo it might be possible that the country would use such weapons just to show that the sissy actually had a pair of balls. Especially after the embarrassment he suffered when trying to confront a real man named Putin.

As to the ISIS killing other Muslims: It's their country, their home, their business. You might not like it, but killing like this will never be solved by other killings - like the one by American bombers. Oh yes, it would be stopped by what the original poster suggested: By nuclear holocaust, which would kill 'em all, let God sort them out. But I detest this. It is much better to have everybody deal with their domestic issues themselves. See Luke 6:41-42. If Odumbo let Assad clean his home, the Isis would never have risen to power in the first place. Isis is an unwanted child caused by American f/king the Middle East.

And last but not least: Isis does not routinely kill Christians. ISIS levies a special tax on them for practicing their faith. It's exactly what liberals have been proposing for my country for years. They called it "German Model", because such tax is levied by ISIS and German government.

The thing is Frankie, this affects us all. The UK has quite a few muslims, one of which just recently cut off somebody's head so it's gonna bite us on the arse if we don't try and stop it. That means maintaining a democratic government in Iraq at all costs. Whether you think that muslims are capable of democracy or not I don't really care as what isis are capable of which is the antithesis of democracy I think you'll find just isn't acceptable in any humane society.
