'Destroy Or Debate?': CNN, Fox And MSNBC All Mystified By Obama’s ISIS Flip-Flop [VIDEO]

The cable news universe converged into a single point at 4 p.m. EST on Wednesday, with hosts on Fox News, CNN and MSNBC all simultaneously expressing confusion over President Barack Obama’s most recent flip-flop on a strategy to defeat the brutal Islamic terror group ISIS.
On Wednesday morning Obama spoke in Estonia about the need to “degrade and destroy” ISIS — right before he went on to explain his goal of “shrinking” ISIS to a “manageable problem.” By Wednesday afternoon, that disconnect was noticed by all three of the major cable networks.

What he meant to say was, if they come to the US, he'll give them free education, birth control pills, and a cheeseburger, as long as they join a union.

‘Frustration and confusion’ among US troops over mixed message on ISIS

America's GI "boots on the ground" in Iraq are so frustrated with the White House message about their mission against the Islamic State -- which Vice President Biden vowed Wednesday to chase "to the gates of Hell" -- that they're wondering how they'll accomplish the goal "when we can't even leave the front gate of our base."
Biden on Wednesday delivered what was probably the toughest statement to date from the administration, declaring, after another U.S. journalist was beheaded by the Islamic State, "we will follow them to the gates of Hell until they are brought to justice."
But his tough talk was at odds with a message delivered earlier in the day by President Obama, who said that while his administration's goal is to "destroy" ISIS -- it also is to "shrink" it to a "manageable problem."
Amid the mixed messages, a source in contact with special operators in Iraq told Fox News that "frustration and confusion reign" among Americans on the ground there.
The source relayed the complaint of an unnamed special operator: "Chase them to the Gates of Hell? How the [f---] are we going to do that when we can't even leave the front gate of our base!?"
Ostensibly, U.S. personnel on the ground in Iraq are there to defend U.S. facilities. The president earlier this week deployed an additional 350 personnel to Baghdad to provide security at the U.S. Embassy and related facilities.

What Obama Offers Against ISIS vs. What Churchill Offered Against the Nazis

During a joint press conference with Estonian President Ilves in Tallinn, President Obama vowed to "degrade and destroy ISIL."
But a few minutes later, Obama changed his tune following a question by Steve Holland of Reuters concerning his military strategy on ISIS/ISIL:
And to go back to what I said earlier....we know that if we are joined by the international community, we can continue to shrink ISIL’s sphere of influence, its effectiveness, its financing, its military capabilities to the point where it is a manageable problem. And the question is going to be making sure we’ve got the right strategy, but also making sure that we’ve got the international will to do it.
Now compare the above with what Winston Churchill said about his policy and aims against the Nazis in the British House of Commons on May 13, 1940 during his first speech as Prime Minister:
You ask, what is our policy? I will say, it is wage to war, by sea, land with air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give to us: to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what is your aim? I can answer in one word: it is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival.
At no point does Churchill speak of shrinking Nazi's Germany sphere of influence. At no point does Churchill speak of Nazi Germany being a manageable problem. Although he welcomed all the help he could get, Churchill also never spoke of making sure there was an international will to defeat the Nazis.
The only thing Churchill offered against the Nazis was blood, toil, tears and sweat. Is Obama prepared to offer any of this against ISIS? All Obama has offered against ISIS is ambiguity, equivocation, indecision and a lifeline.
Is it any wonder that, in one of his first acts of office, Obama returned the Churchill bust that Tony Blair lent to President Bush after the attacks of September 11, 2001?
Sadly, it should come as no surprise that a symbol bearing the image of one of the wisest leaders of the 20th century would have no place in the Obama White House.
If Obama possessed an ounce of Churchill's resolve then perhaps ISIS would tread lightly.
