Swedish school bans the Swedish flag

PROHIBITED: The Swedish flag has now been banned at a primary school in Sweden. The reason is that the flag may be offensive to certain groups and breaking the law “offensive against ethnic groups.”
The sensational ban is introduced at Söndrum school in Halmstad. Use of the flag is now only allowed on the national day or when foreign students are invited.
Swedish flag can be perceived as racist …….. The reason for the ban is a masquerade which was held at the school recently where one of the students chose to paint his face blue and yellow. He also have brought a toy gun to masquerade.
The school management reacted very strongly and now prohibits both the Swedish flag and toy weapons.

Why don't they just sign over all of the land to foreigners?
    A flag is racist?
When current trends show that 1 in 4 women will be raped in their lifetime there, it's time for Sweden to make some changes, and those changes don't involve making foreigners even more untouchable and telling natives that they are all racists for merely existing.

and yet we havn´t had any shootout in a school, how many in USA?

              Dont just read headlines...........

The traditions of the school is something most students look forward to. When we have days with elements of masquerade and music, the goal is that these days should be perceived as positive by all. The Swedish flag may not be included in fancy dress. Masked and demonstrations will also be free from elements of weapons. There are positive and bright emotions that must be highlighted.

We certainly have our share of trouble here in our own schools.......and I understand the Swede's desire to keep the special days positive...........what I don't understand is why your nation's flag is perceived as a negative...........it is after all the flag of the country that every single one of the participants calls home........

In the end........I believe inanity leads to despair...........In other words, I see the same bankrupt ideology at work in both our nations and at the root of both environments we have inflicted upon our children

Sweden's youth have responded with moral complacency (it has not dawned on anyone to ask why "positive" is to be preferred or if there is ever a time when worth is found through sacrifice and hardship).........America's youth have responded with a growing anger/violence (and yet the agitation remains void of a coherent moral center that would make the protest noble and its objectives of value)

Anyway.........why is it that the flag of the children's country is negative

You can say it doesn't happen often, but you can't say it never happens:
Longtime residents of Sweden have painful memories of school shootings. One of the earliest on record occurred in the country in 1961, when 17-year-old Ove Conry Andersson entered a school gymnasium during a dance and opened fire, killing one classmate and wounding seven others. He escaped police pursuit and turned himself in the next day, confessing to the crime.
Sweden would not have another school shooting until 2001, when two young men aged 19 and 17 murdered the younger brother of a student at Bromma secondary school who owed them $500 for drugs. The student was shot through the throat in the school bathroom in front of multiple witnesses.
