'Stolen' diamond surgically removed in Bangkok

The woman is believed to have stolen the six-carat diamond from a jewellery fair on Thursday by swapping it for a fake gemstone.

How Can I Convince My 3-Year-Old They’re Transgender?

Dear Jane,
I’ve been in such a state of perpetual turmoil ever since giving birth. My child, pronoun “they”, is now 3-years-old. I have been mired in a heinous state of chronic depression because “they” do not want to play with girl’s toys. It destroys me that “they” might be another white CIS male, and another future agent of the patriarchy. That’s just not the type of lifestyle I can support or agree with. “Their” father has also been deeply despondent over our child’s reluctance to conform to our stance and ideals on gender. My husband identifies as gender neutral, and whenever “Xe” (my husbands current pronoun) witnesses our child playing with toy trucks and trains, it triggers “Xer” so hard that “Xe” crumbles into a quivering pile of inconsolable PTSD jitters.
My question is, how can I persuade my child to blossom into the fabulous transgender individual that I know in my heart “they” truly are? All I’ve ever wanted was a trans child, and the fact that “they” seem so drawn to boys toys and refuse to don the lovely dresses I so painstakingly choose for “them” just crushes my soul. What can I do to make “them” understand the harm that they inflict on our family through their identity as a CIS-gendered white male? Please Jane, help us, it’s tearing our family apart.

Saratoga Woman's Late Husband's Ashes, Death Certificate Stolen During Burglary

Sheriff's deputies are seeking suspects in connection with a burglary, after an 83-year-old Saratoga woman reported a box filled with her late husband's ashes missing Friday.
Around 11:35 a.m., deputies responded to the 10000 block of Howen Drive for a report of an interrupted burglary, according to sheriff's officials.
When deputies arrived, deputies learned the victim had arrived home and saw two young men running away from the residence and get into a cream-colored four-door sedan, containing a male driver, sheriff's officials said.
The vehicle was last seen driving southeast from the residence, toward Saratoga High School.
When the victim got inside her home, she discovered the suspects had taken a dark mahogany box containing the ashes of her late husband. The box also contained her husband's death certificate and four silver coins, sheriff's officials said.
The victim told deputies she is willing to forego prosecution in exchange for the box with her husband's ashes, according to sheriff's officials.
Sheriff's officials described the first suspect looked to be between 16 and 18 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds and with dark hair. He was wearing a dark gray jacket with a white t-shirt underneath and jeans.
The second suspect is described as a heavy-set man, between 16 and 18 years old, roughly 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds and with light brown hair. He was wearing a blue shirt and long tan shorts, according to sheriff's deputies.

An Arab doctor was arrested on the first day of Eid Al Adha in Kuwait roaming around the residential areas offering to slaughter the Eid sheep of residents.
This story went viral on social media, where many said that he must be punished for what he did as he was not a licensed butcher, and also he ignored all rules of hygiene which are part of a butcher's job.
The doctor works in a private hospital and wanted to earn extra money by offering to slaughter Eid sheep in the neighbourhood.
Sarah, a Kuwaiti girl, said that this is not strange as most of the doctors are in reality butchers and this is the reason for most of the medical malpractice cases.
Yaser, a Kuwaiti, was sarcastic, saying that most of the doctors are doing part time jobs in their free time, and it seem this doctors was one of them.
Ali, another person on social media, said that such acts must not be ignored.
“No matter what is the reason, he is a doctor and he must respect this position. He shouldn’t go around and do such a job without obtaining licence to do so. He broke the rules and must be punished.”

Professor: Whites Hunting for Sport is the Equivalent of Lynching Black People

According to Dr. Warren J. Blumenfeld, who is a staff member of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, hunting animals for sport has many similarities to lynching African Americans.
In his article "White Supremacy and Devaluation of African [Heritage] Lives," Blumenfeld explains how hunting animals in Africa is very similar to murdering black people.
Dr. Blumenfeld begins, "The philosophy and practice of white supremacy devalues all African and African heritage lives whether human or non-human animal. White supremacy links slavery in the "Americas" with the ongoing police killings of unarmed black people and to the killing of animals on the continent of Africa."
"Wealthy white people invade Africa," according to Blumenfeld, "and then track, entice, snare, capture, kill, sometimes skin, and behead majestic and noble animals... These so-called "hunters" kill not for food, but rather, for sport."
This bears a striking resemblance to slavery and lynching African Americans, Blumenfeld claims.
He writes, "When we look side by side of pictures of white people standing with big smiles beneath black people they hanged and white people standing next to African animals they killed, we witness many similarities in what some white people perceive as "tropies [sic].""
African animals' lives matter, Blumenfeld concludes, and are "directly linked" to human lives.
"In the final analysis," he says, "we must see the senseless murder and devaluation of the lives of animals on the continent of Africa as directly linked with the enslavement, segregation, denial of rights, and murder of African heritage people in the United States, for all this attests to the white supremacist plundering of life continuing to this very day."

Obama Administration and UN Announce Global Police Force to Fight ‘Extremism’ In U.S.

On Wednesday, Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced at the United Nations that her office would be working in several American cities to form what she called the Strong Cities Network (SCN), a law enforcement initiative that would encompass the globe.
This amounts to nothing less than the overriding of American laws, up to and including the United States Constitution, in favor of United Nations laws that would henceforth be implemented in the United States itself – without any consultation of Congress at all.
The United Nations is a sharia-compliant world body, and Obama, speaking there just days ago, insisted that “violent extremism” is not exclusive to Islam (which it is). Obama is redefining jihad terror to include everyone but the jihadists. So will the UN, driven largely by the sharia-enforcing Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the pro-Islamic post-American President Obama, use a “global police force” to crush counter-jihad forces?
After all, with Obama knowingly aiding al-Qaeda forces in Syria, how likely is it that he will use his “global police force” against actual Islamic jihadists? I suspect that instead, this global police force will be used to impose the blasphemy laws under the sharia (Islamic law), and to silence all criticism of Islam for the President who proclaimed that “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

Army issues new breastfeeding policy

(CNN)The Army issued a service-wide breastfeeding policy this week, making it the last military branch to implement guidelines for supporting nursing service members.
The two-page policy, which applies to active, Guard and Reserve members, takes effect immediately. The policy says command must provide designated spaces for soldiers to pump breast milk, whether they're on base or doing field and mobility exercises. It leaves it up to soldiers and commanders to work out a schedule that balances the mother's needs and mission readiness.
Army spokesman Lt. Col. Jerome Pionk said the policy is not prescriptive by design to allow for flexibility.
"This directive was specifically designed so soldiers and command can work together to come up with a situation that will balance the needs of the mother with the needs of the mission," he told CNN.

Man who calls police to say he’s ‘too high’ found in pile of Doritos (Article and 911 call)

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- An Ohio man made a strange, and not-so-wise call to police last Friday to tell them that he was "too high" on marijuana.
Police arrived at the 22-year-old man's home at approximately 5:20 p.m, according to WJW.
There, they found him on the floor "in a fetal position," surrounded by, "a plethora of Doritos, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish and Chips Ahoy cookies."
According to a police report, the man told the officer that he couldn't feel his hands because he smoked too much weed.
The 22-year-old gave the officer the keys to his car, where he had smoked the pot. The cop recovered a glass pipe, rolling papers, roaches and a glass jar of marijuana.
According to the police report, charges are pending for drug possession and drug paraphernalia.

Air Force Dental Technician Accused of Witchcraft

A former technician at a dental clinic at Fort Meade, Maryland, claims that her coworkers discriminated against her for her Hindu faith and accused her of “witchcraft” and “bringing demons into the office.”
The Air Force Times reported that former Air Force contractor Deborah Schoenfeld alleges she was fired from her position at the Epes Dental Clinic when she complained about the discrimination.
The founder and president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, which is representing Schoenfeld, penned a letter to military officials Monday during which he argued the discrimination violated Defense Department and Air Force directives as well as the U.S. Constitution.
“An incredibly volatile, hostile and toxic evangelical Christian work environment under your direct command has resulted in the pernicious harassment, disenfranchisement, and firing of a once valued member of your team,” wrote Michael “Mikey” Weinstein in the letter, detailing the alleged harassment.
Weinstein said that Schoenfeld practices Hindu and “has interest in Wiccan practices.”
According to the letter, staff at the dental clinic accused Schoenfeld of “witchcraft” and “bringing demons into the office.” Employees also allegedly labeled her yoga practice “satanic.” According to Schoenfeld, she was fired from the practice for using profanity after filing a complaint about the harassment.
“Her career has been unjustly and abruptly derailed and terminated by a literal ‘witch hunt’ within your command,” Weinstein wrote, claiming that witnesses at the dental clinic had corroborated Schoenfeld’s account.
“We have spoken with witnesses at the clinic under your command who have universally confirmed that … a particular offending party has effusively celebrated her replacement by a Catholic woman by saying publicly that ‘It’s good to see we got an angel, since last time we had the devil,’” he revealed.

Two unnamed coworkers reportedly confirmed Schoenfeld’s accusations, one of whom said she was labeled a “Hindu witch.” The Air Force District of Washington is currently probing the matter.
“The Air Force thoroughly reviews all instances in which airmen report concerns regarding religious freedoms or accommodations,” spokesman Maj. Joel Harper said Monday.
“Mutual respect is an essential part of the Air Force culture. Supporting the right of free exercise of religion relates directly to the Air Force core values and the ability to maintain an effective team.”

Genders away! Navy dives into 'unisex' uniforms 'We used to call this cross-dressing'

Welcome to the U.S. (unisex) Navy.
Sailors will soon be issued “Dixie Cup” hats and gender-neutral uniforms to satisfy Navy Secretary Ray Mabus’ demands. A preview of the new uniforms was revealed Monday.
“Having service members don the same headgear is symbolic of a Navy that is gender-blind,” Navy spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Nate Christensen told Military Times on Monday. “We have been working hard to design covers and uniforms that improve uniformity across the force as well as improve the function and fit of sailors’ uniforms according to Mabus’ plan for uniform and cover redesign.”
The new hat will be issued to sailors with a rank of E-6 and below next April. A re-designed Service Dress Blue uniform for men and women will be issued beginning Oct. 1 next year, and the female version of the iconic “crackerjack” uniform will be phased out by next fall, the newspaper reported.
“We have done several wear-tests and have incorporated sailors’ feedback,” Lt. Cmdr. Christensen added.
Feedback on Military.com’s website was resoundingly negative.
“We used to call this cross-dressing. Our senior military leadership have obviously bought into the pop-social theory, espoused by today’s progressives, that gender differences are a result of experience and cultural conditioning,” a user identified as OldNavy207 wrote Tuesday.
“Years from now people in our country won’t even know who to have sex with,” another user added.
