Is Snuson looking out of date?

This is not a criticism ... merely an observation ... please take it as such if you're one of the hard working mods or admins who keep this forum open for us all to use.

I was looking at the Snuson.com logo this morning and noticed the General tins next to the title and the thought struck me that these three general tins (white, original and los) have not looked like that for over a year and a half making the site look a little bit dated.

When the site changed to this 'new' look several years ago I wondered at the product placement of General in the logo - maybe if in re-vamping the logo it could be made to represent the snus makers active in supporting the site through their presence here like GN and Gotlandssnus - that would seem like a fair thing to me.

What does everyone else think?

I agree. I use General on occasion, and haven't seen those tins lately. Plus, I've never seen anyone from SM here.

I always notice the old cans when buying snus but never on this site. Good point and good suggestion on gn and gotlandssnus.

I agree about the General tins... especially if the forum's owners don't receive some sort of compensation from SM. I think it would be nice to rotate a different brand a month. JMO...

Also, has anyone noticed that some of the functionality has been removed from users ability to create fancy signatures? I'd like to return to the old way when we could use almost anything as part of our signature. I so miss seeing PP's pig... I wish we could add pics to our signatures again... just saying...

I agree. I dont think that a forum like ours should have a logo, where a specific brands is used. In my world it would be better to use a graphic that shows a non branded snus can or something else associated to snus.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention wa3zrm. We think this issue may have been introduced when we recreated SnusOn a couple of years ago after it was hacked with the Vbulletin default setting for signatures being not to allow pictures to be attached. We have now changed this setting to allow pictures to be attached and so you should now be able to attach pictures to your signature.

Agree completely. The cans now don't look bad but the label is no longer used.....

What about something really old and/or premium? Like the boxes they used to sell snus in wayyyyy back in the day... might help show new users that snus isn't just a flash in the pan.
