Flashback time and coincidentally enough, from St. Paul MN too....

I had a large African American lady that worked for me who was always late and did a poor job. Finally one afternoon I was done with it and told her to leave which she did.

She came back two days later for her paycheck but didn't bring back her uniforms and our company policy was no uniforms, no paycheck. She was fully informed of this but threw one hell of a scene in the lobby. Aside from the cussing and yelling which I can deal with she flipped the registers off the counter on to the floor and then turned around and started throwing metal napkin dispensers in the lobby area. I stepped out in the lobby and told her to leave and she took a swing at me. I've never dropped someone so fast and had her in a real good chicken wing hold until she calmed down. She promised to keep it cool and I let her go and she ran out of the door.

I don't remember exactly what she looked like since it was almost 20 years ago but damn, that took me right back to that day!
