    What does everybody drive?

Natural question for me; I'm a total car freak.

    Here are my current babies:

I drove Dodges for years, but after much time and money spent along with wadding one up on the freeway (violently), I decided to take a break from muscle cars. I'll probably go back one day, but by then prices will be so ridiculous, it won't be worth it anymore. :x

Sooo, whatcha got? I'm definitely interested to see what some of you drive...your car is an extension of yourself, after all...

Chevy, and chevy only. I like all chevy's, from the corvette to the cavalier. In fact I own two cavaliers, on is my winter car, one I like to chop up and mess around with as much as possible. In a couple of years I plan on buying a camaro. Probably a third gen camaro.

My Dad has 3 camaros, a 67 327 that we just finished a full restoration on, it was his first car. The next is a 79 z28 that has only 60,000 origional miles and had no work done on it ever, and is in nearly mint condition. And the last is a 2002 Berger camaro. For the majority of people who do not know what Berger means, basically it is like the modern era copo camaro. A special, factory authorized, performance edition build. Where one specific company sends the car out to a performance shop to be "hopped up" and still have the factory warranty. Only 40 of these cars were built in 2002. 380 hp rating, lowered, bigger wheels/tires, and many other exclusives on this car.

So basically thats the whole history of the family chevy tradition, and there is not a single vehicle in our family that is not a chevy, and unless the factory closes down, there will be NO other vehicle.

Those were nice well balanced cars; those old 3 series bimmers. I drove a 325es back in the late 80's. It was a fun car. Pardon my ignorance but (hard for me to tell from the photo), are yours M3's?

I drive a pair of shoes. Fuel prices in the UK make American gas look like a freakin' bargain and there's no space on the roads here anyway, even if I could afford a damned car  Trains are way faster anyway.

A 1997 Chevy Silverado Z71, its the extended cab short box...its pretty nice... But, I basically need it to get up my driveway in the winter time...here in Montana, you are a fool to own a single thing that doesn't have 4 wheel drive...unless of course its a hot rod summer driver, or what have you!

Ahh yes the BMW...Bavarian Manure Wagon... haha no im just kidding they are great cars well made at that.

The difference between German and Japanese cars (in quality) may be not as big as the difference between American and Japanese cars, but I just like to drive a car that gives me the feeling, that, if something goes wrong, then the boss of the firm will take a sword and ram it into his belly, instead of just retire and getting a huge retirement pay (even more huge than if he did anything right).

Apart from that, this car is just perfect for me. Modern cars are just a piece of "over-technisized crap", even if they need a litre less per 100Km or drive 5 miles more per gallon.

I love my car and since I can't drive it simply as long as I want to (cars in Germany need an independent technical check, usually by an organisation, called "TÜV" in every two years), I'll drive it "until the TÜV us do part!"

                    Cheers!

                            I wish...

The red one is a 325es and the gray one is a 325i. One will eventually have a ridiculously large turbo if I ever get the time and money. I would love a first-generation M3, but even stripped shells go for a few grand.

You guys have some cool stuff... 8)

I drive a Kia...and a Toyota Echo...they're small. And fuel efficient. And not fast by any definition of the word.

Zero, you'd probably beat me in a race, but at least I'd be an air conditioned loser...
