If you were 2 to 4 years old.....

...do you think your parents would let you play on a dead horse?.....for a day or so....until the dog food truck showed up.
If so do you know why they let you play on it? Or not play on it. If you know they would or wouldn't then please let us know.

    just curious

    wheres Karen?

My parents let me do anything, as long as I didn't tell them and I didn't get caught.

Did you ever have one of those moments when you wanted to tell Mom and Dad (confess) some things? No, me neither......

Well I had a moment when I was about 10/11 years old. I crashed one of the tractors and bent a rod for the steering and it became very hard to turn the wheel. I didn't say anything until my dad was fixing it. While he was working on it I had to confess. I can remember it all so clearly. He was cool about it tho. I think he was proud to know that I stepped up and confessed. After that I don't think I admitted too much else.

....now back to the question in the original post..........

No, they might let me poke it with a stick for a minute. Then my mom would say "leave it alone, it may have germs" or my dad would say "knock it off, it's dead. What's wrong with that kid?"

My dad would yell.....who the hell killed the horse

and then we would say.......all we did was give it the leftovers from last night's supper

then dad would stop and think for a moment........and we would all go out to eat
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

My dad wouldn't have said anything. He would have just shaken his head and went on with his day. My mother, on the other hand, would have a full-on conniption going on about bacteria and the like...then my dad would get it for going on with his day.

What's the horses name though?...might make a difference.

Fresh kill? Only for a day? Absolutely! No different then after you go hunting and kids want to play with the dead critters
