Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to say I'm glad that I've heard of Snus. I used to smoke (a long time ago) and I quit because I didn't like the smell on me and the effects to my health. I found that I had an addiction to the nicotine so I tried American snuff in pouches. It helped with the nicotine cravings but the portions are big and there are a lot of bad chemicals added. Then I saw a news report on Sweedish Snus. I did a little research and ordered a portions sample pack from http://northerner.com/ I'm still trying them out, but I find I like the mini sizes the best and I like having the snus in my upper lip (I don't have to worry about hiding my snuff at work!) Nobody can tell I have on in and it's great. I just went back to the site and ordered one can of every mini portion snus to try. And I bought the Icetool Snusbox! I'm pretty excited about it.

I'm very surprised and happy to learn of the good attitude toward Snus coming from Europe. Both men and women enjoying snus without shame. In North America tobacco use is frowned at.

Europe banned the sale of snus, actually. The only reason it's legal in Sweden is that they refused to join the EU unless they were allowed to keep their beloved snus. There's been a small bit of media attention to it, but the cigarette companies, I think, are probably the ones keeping the pressure on the governments to keep it banned - a snus revolution would cripple them. At least some, like Lucky Strike and now Camel, have seen the snus boom on the horizon and have gotten into the market early (well, late, but early in terms of it going global).

Ummm, actually, snus is banned in all of the EU except Sweden and Norway.

In fact Norway is one of very few western European countries not to be a member of the European Union.

They have a very high living standard they wouldn't give shit about EU, that made life harder for everyone anyway.
