A short Tron 2 ("Tr2n") trailer has been leaked. I haven't geeked out this hard over something in a LONG time. Thought I'd share. Those of you who were around for the first one and loved it, have a change of underwear handy.

Tron.. wow that brings back memories. Tron 2.. cool i'll watch it. have to rewatch the first one though. Maybe someone will throw one of those little disk things at Bill Gates or something. :lol:

I ordered the original from Netflix a couple of months ago; I have the VHS tape somewhere, but I wanted to see it on DVD. Still a great movie....when I saw it originally, I knew next to nothing about computers in general; this time around it made a lot more sense. :wink:

LOL. It's true. It's still good. I saw it again a few months ago myself and it still holds up surprisingly well for 1982. 25 years of technology should - SHOULD - make the new one a complete blast to watch unless the wrong people get involved and try to make it a cheap summer thrill. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed, geekwise.

yeah I think men [and grossly overweight women] and spandex is just one of those VERY bad combos. Kudos to that guy for creativity, but, he should make some sort of integral "codpiece" like the droogs wore in A Clockwork Orange, so Tron fans don't have to look at his F***ing balls!
@Jason; I hear you! Tron came out when I was a little kid, and nobody in my life knew a thing about computers so it confused the hell out of me, but who doesn't like pretty coloured lights?

When I was a kid, I didn't know what all the computer terminology was either, and I didn't care. I was like, "Oh, so that's what goes on in a video game. Cool!"

Edit: Tron on laserdisc is very cool. Have you tried attaching it to your back or throwing it at people?
