What bands/styles of music do you listen to? I used to listen to alot of high tempo metal music (80's metallica/slayer etc.) but lately I've been listening to some Oasis and classical music. I just went to see an Oasis concert in Calgary and am going to Metallica in Calgary in December! Cheers in advance for the replies.

Me listens to pretty much anything but have a special place in my heart for old pre-punk bands like The Stooges, New York Dolls, etc. Old school punk, The Damned, The Clash, The Adicts, Sex Pistols, Sham 69. Me also likes early-eighties hardcore punk bands, many of which were on Condor's list.

I listened to a lot of Sham 69 in high school. They still play and occasionally tour the US. The same with The Adicts. Kinda weird, but it's cool theyre still together. I played in a lot of ska/oi bands when I was a kid from high school til when I graduated college (up to about 6 years ago), so it takes up most of what I listen to. I just think its amusing that my grandkids will have a grandpa that enjoys loud oi! music and hardcore.

Wow. We listen to ALOT of the same bands. Huge, huge fan of all the "Lookout Records" pop-punk bands like the Queers/S. Weasel/youforgot Mr. T Experience and the Vindictives.

I don't listen to much ska-core anymore, but I used to love Skankin Pickle, MU330, Blue Meanies, Bosstones, Slapstick...

I tend to like Industrial music most, which means I listen to a lot of German music, then after that I like some punk (Nausea, for instance), and some classics (like Hendrix and Bowie). One Swedish band that has some good stuff is Covenant.

My current favorites are Das Ich, E-Craft, God Module, Nausea, and Collide.

...I agree with you mercvrivs, Industrial style music is great. The great Rammstein comes to mind when speaking of this genre. I've lifted many weights, ran many miles, and accomplished lots of homework while listening to Rammstein. If you are really hardcore you may not like Rammstein (many hardcore Industrial fans tend to label them as Industrial-pop or something of that nature), but they are still great in my books. Cheers.

Hell my ipod is like a record store pucked on it. Hardcore to jazz to hip hop to crazy shit. I have been digging dropkick murphys and flogging molly alot latley as well as a band called muck sticky.
