Snusforum.com problem...

I even e-mailed the guys at BuySnus a week ago on friday to see if they had any info or an admin addy (since they obviously advertised the site).
Haven't heard from them tho.

Same here. I even offered to help them out with admin if they needed - no reply on that one.

FWIW, Before the other snus forum I only had the german language one at http://snus-forum.de/ . I still go there and make do with my limited german (I can read it better than write it and speaking it becomes much easier with every drink.
I like their "snus database" of sorts. You know, in typical german dot-the-i's and cross-your-t's fashion they make a topic for every snus and reply in it with your findings.
Luckily they understand english well enough.

It is interesting that buysnus has updated their home web page (with new expansion of items for sale, no doubt to compete with Northerner's wide variety of tobacco related items), and yet, the link to the Snus Forum is still at the bottom of the page; makes me wonder if that forum will be coming back online soon.

SOME of the webpages for Buysnus.com is working fine for me, but as for Northerner.com, none of them seemed to be working - my tracing software reports for Northerner.com "the destination is unreachable", but things seem to be okay with buysnus.com, so maybe they are just updating specific web pages.

Don't know what is going on with Northerner, except the same thing happen several weeks ago, and within a couple of days or so, it was back online.

Starwing - Hope that Northerner does come back online. It sure is cheaper than Buysnus if you only want to order 2 or 3 cans. Their support has been very flakey of late but when I got through to someone in Sweden he said it was becasue they had moved to new premises and were upgrading their systems. Lets's hope that is the case and they're just expanding to cope with demand.

know swedish laws on tobacco advertisement can be very strict and hence they got a notice from the Big Guy to take it down?
Take for example www.generalsnus.com and www.ettansnus.com ?

I just got an email from smokeless.de, seems they have had to close their forum too. Here is a bad google translation of the german text:

I was on the legs over to find out all day long whether that a serious letter was. This alleged lawyer called and this knew from nothing. And its knowledge can I further the forum open keep. Back Online for Viewing Only

The Forums are opened back up, however, the snusforum is closed for new postings but it you can read all prior postings about Swedish snus. Some postings have been removed thus they can therefore open the site for viewing. At least you can check to see if you missed any posts before it had closed in November 2006.

So many people have the belief that smokeless is as dangerous, if not more than cigarettes. Common sense tells ya if ya burn something, inhale it, can't be good for ya.
