General Tattoo?

I'm of the opinion that tatoos aren't something you should get or not get based on the opinions of other people. It's sort of something you can only really decide for yourself.

Get whatever you want, for whatever reason you want. Tattoos don't all have to have some deep meaningful presence. There is such a thing as cool art.

I hate people that ask me why I got all my tattoos, or what the meaning is.

I can relate a meaning to a few of mine... I can blame alcohol for a few... And I have many that I just got because I liked them. Several are unfinished works in progress.

That's just my $.02

Actually, just posting this gave me the idea for a new tattoo!

I'm going to get a double-bordered square with the words inside that read "Meaningless tattoo #42"

That way when people ask me what the meaning of my tattos are, I can tell tham that I got this one for people who thing that tattos all have to have deep purposeful meaning! :lol:

My tattoos are pretty much decoration for me. One that does have meaning for sure. The other ones are really just an expression and a remembrance of who I was when I got them.

I treat my body like a temple. One that I want to enjoy for as long as I happen to have it. I want to tag the walls and live it up. I figure if I get hit by the proverbial bus tomorrow I didn't leave the plastic on the furniture.

I say the crest is cool and either fill it in with something else or leave General there. If you can afford the tattoo and you want it get it.

I just noticed that all of mine have some type of historical relevance.....so i guess i accidentally got nerd tattoos.

I started an ink thread quite some time ago. It failed miserably. Apparently not too many decorated people here.

Or at least ones that are willing to share their work
