Hey everyone, back after a few days.
First we all must give a congradulations to our President elect, Barak Obama, love him or hate him, he will be your president.
His sole test for four years will be whether or not he he plays left wing politics completely. This country is still a center-right country, that does not support left wing politics. He was elected only because of peoples dislike of President Bush.
Think of it this way, he was introduced as the "savior", the "Messiah", he was completely favored by the whole media, even by Fox news in a lot of cases, and he raised 3 times as much money as McCain. But yet he only won by 7 mil. votes. That in itself is truthfully not a good thing for him. It-was most definatly no land-slide election as predicted, and most who oppose his ideas, oppose them to the death. The way the media was representing him and praising him should have led to a massive "Reagan like" land slide election of tens of millions of votes.
This is not me saying anything negative about Obama, simply that it is clear that Americans are very unsure.
Now let me get this completely straight, I oppose almost all of the ideas that Obama presented in his campain for president. And I will oppose them throughout his presidency; however, I wish him the best of luck and I wish him massive success. If he is able to implement all of the ideals he presented in his campain he will not have much success, if any at all.
If he gives up on the war on terrorism, or cuts defense like he said he would, or spreads the wealth around like he said, we are in for trouble, big trouble.
The stock market reacts to things like a presidential election, and it went down in a mass the couple days after the election. This is a key idicatior to the state of our country if he does implement the ideals he conveyed during his campain. If he decideds to hold off on those ideas and run the country as it has been in our prosperous history, we will suceed.
Anyway, lets all congradulate him on the victory, and also wish him the very best of success. If you are religious, please pray for Obama. He needs it wether you like him or not.
Also I have heard of many people making threats on this mans life. I understand this happens with all presidents; however, every new president has a different group that wants him dead. And we all need to pray, or if your not religious, hope dearly that no person would ever take the life of another.
There is nothing more that I would like than Obama to be out of office in a very short period of time, but his assasinaiton would whole-heartedly destroy me. We all need to pray for this mans safety, as I feel him being black will cause more controversy among very immature and segregational parts of our society.
Alright, that post is way to long already, Not to mention I have had several home brewed beers and can't see or type to well.
Last remarks will say what I have already,
Please, everyone, pray for Obama's success, if he follows his campain promisses I realize success will never happen; however, it is clear that he understands this as well in his last few speaches. Anyone able to become president of our country deserves the greates respect of the people. You may hate him, as I do, for his policies, but now is the time to support his success in supporting the greatest nation ever created.
