    Snus on the wall !!!

Hey all, haven't posted in a long while - but I have been lurking on the board 2 - 3 times a week for a long time. Guess I just didn't have much to say .

I wanted to share a funny moment with you all. I really never use los snus - I like the flavor, but because I can't really use it outside of late nights I kept leaving cans out for months and they'd dry out because I just didn't use it much. As a result I have had a bunch of los cans in my freezer for quite some time (months) but I just tried a first order with getsnus.com. I added Onyx to the list (I mean c'mon their price is riiculous) but it mentioned it was backordered. Well I figured they'd automatically send the rest, then catch me up with the Onyx. I didn't think much of it, until my snus didn't come . Well - I was DANGEROUSLY low on snus so I decided to try los again. All went well - apparently 9 months of regular snusing with portions makes your lip habits good (maybe that's just me) - but I had no mud mouth or any other problems. That is until I decided to dispose of the los -- I was aiming for a garbage can next to a wall and when I blew my cheeks up like a blowfish to loosen it up and spit it out - I missed and hit the wall! Ooops my wife didn't think that was so hot (not a snuser). It wiped up nice, but wow I felt like a kid . It really made a mess! But since it cleaned up nicely so I give snus another thumb up (probably my 30th thumb over the last 10 months or so).

Oh don't take my comment about getsnus as a negative - I contacted their company and they're now sending me as much of the order as they can and will fill the Onyx later for no extra charge. When I get everything I'll report my experience in the stores area.

I think the thing I don't like about los, is that I feel like I have to constantly babysit it. I have to worry about how it compresses and shifts, how it starts to crumble, how much is in my teeth, etc.

I only had two cans of los, and like you they dried out before I finished them. I think that I'm just going to stick with portions...

Haha, well I guess I'm still a "kid" compared to a lot of you guys, but my nasty habit is when I'm at the computer, I put my used portions behind the keyboard. My mousematt is ... discolored by now

I counted 71 last time I cleaned the place. Imagine sitting there gaming all day, it sure does fill up.

You don't have a mum who doesn't know about your snusing habits.

I could tell her, Im sure she knows really but I just dont want to tell my old mum I use tobacco.

Or an empty snus container! Just tear off the label so mum doesn't see what it is accidently. Has to be better than explaining a spent portion on your mouse pad!

My neighbor still has a pris stuck up on his siding "someone" flung there this summer.

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I kind of like spitting them onto walls outside, the splat noise is so satisfying. The rain will wash it off in no time.

Seems like every hour or two (how long I have a pris or portion in) I'm near a trash can so disposal isn't ordinarily a problem. We have a trashcan dedicated to our kids diapers. I figure my portions/los is less nasty than what's already in there .

I can't even imagine putting my used portions down on a surface of my house, especially for long periods of time. I'm not a clean person at all - but food mess or cig/snus mess is something I can't handle. Basically, if it's dry (i.e. papers/CDs/empty snus cans/etc...) I can put it anywhere, but if it's wet (food/used snus/old beer cans) I throw those out right away. Maybe I'm weird, dunno (well I'm an engineer, so I know I'm weird ).

Ahh, but a portion dries, so it IS dry ...eventually.

At night, I just put my last portion on the table next to the bed as I fall asleep. Every few days, I just gather the dried portions up and throw them away
