So, I've been searching around for a smaller, lighter alternative to my backpack. I needed room for snus, snuff, digi-cam, condoms, a multi-tool, wallet, phone, PsP, meds, tactical knife etc....every day carry type items....+some work supplies.
Those of you in the first responder community [Condor? Sentry?] are probably familiar with 5.11 Tactical products, they make everything from knives to pants etc.
I found a Quantico Tactical supply store near me and got the 5.11 P.U.S.H [that's "practical utility shoulder hold-all"]. It retails for around $50.00 usd. I'll do a full review eventually on our knife and gear blog, but just hafta say, this is a great piece of gear. I've been contemplating buying Maxpedition's version of a bag like this for some time. Never really been a shoulder-bag kinda guy, but this one's definitely awesome, there's even a spot where I can attach my Tactical Tailor Utility pouch with Malice clips if I want to add more options to my daily bag, but there's plenty of room in the PUSH for most every day type stuff, shoot, I could even attach a little Grovsnus pouch to the side pocket with a Grimloc or Malice clip! It'll be a great range bag too for earplugs, ammo and safety stuff.
here's a link to our gear review blog, if anyone's interested
