Have fun! Not the time of year I'd want to go, but still cool seeing the other side of the world.

Really? Winter here is summer down under. Seems like the perfect time to go.

I also plan to do some craisy shit down there. What can I say? I love the thrill of danger in a foreign land.

Bungee jump or skydive? I should take a poll before I go.

My biggest goal in life is to dodge the heat. I'd like to go to Norway, Finland, or Russia for the winter. See what a real winter looks like. For danger in Australia, I think you only have to go out for a walk. Most of their nature is hostile to your existence, and avoiding it would be a nice challenge :^D

Same here, LX. I prefer cold weather, much more than 90F hot humid days. You can dress for cold weather. I prefer summer vacations in Alaska or northern Ontario, to winter vacations in Florida. I'd miss snow and breathing cold air too much, to actually live in a tropical climate.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

                                Interesting........

During the 3-1/2 years of World War 2 that started with the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor in December 1941 and ended with the Surrender of Germany and Japan in 1945, the U.S. produced 22 aircraft carriers, 8 battleships, 48 cruisers, 349 destroyers, 420 destroyer escorts, 203 submarines, 34 million tons of merchant ships, 100,000 fighter aircraft, 98,000 bombers, 24,000 transport aircraft, 58,000 training aircraft, 93,000 tanks, 257,000 artillery pieces, 105,000 mortars, 3,000,000 machine guns, and 2,500,000 military trucks.
We put 16.1 million men in uniform in the various armed services, invaded Africa, invaded Sicily and Italy, won the battle for the Atlantic, planned and executed D-Day, marched across the Pacific and Europe, developed the atomic bomb and ultimately conquered Japan and Germany.
It's worth noting, that during the almost exact amount of time, the Obama administration couldn't build a web site.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
