Bump...........solely for the sake of the title of this thread. 8)Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

If you are bored go to "Snus and Erectile Dysfunction" thread. OR just look around at some of the old posts in People and the world around us. That should keep you buzy for a while.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

My dream car? 1973 Fiat Spider.
When I was learning to drive Way Back In The Day, I learned how to drive stick on my dad's '73 Spider. White convertible. I fell in love with that car. Pop's philosophy was "If you're not driving a stick, you're not really driving" and I have to admit that once I mastered the clutch on that thing, I understood what he meant. I'll never buy an automatic.
He'd always said that once I got my license, I could take it out on my own. But just before I did, Pop found himself a 1960 Austin Healey Sprite (the "bug eye" model which only had door handles on the inside) and sold the Fiat to afford it. I don't think I ever forgave him for that. I didn't like the Sprite. I loved the Spider.
Some day, I still tell myself many many years after the fact, I'll get my own Spider. But that some day will have to come when I've got a bit more money and a lot more spare time to devote to the darn thing ("Fix it again, Tony!")
