For me, that test gave me pretty much the opposite of what I like.
Relaxing, sad and romantic was the result I got.
My favourite genre is blackmetal. Need I say more? :P

Black metal is my fave style too. And all it's various aspects, raw, necro, primitive, symphonic, black-n'roll, blackened death ....

You mean there are more songs other than "Happy Birthday To You" and "In The Garden Of Eden" [aka, Innagoddadavida]?
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

                Hey tom,
I've been a drummer since the age of 10, have been in Jazz bands and rock bands, played live at gigs (NOTHING beats that, not even snus). Sadly, I had to sell my kit after I moved into my own apartment.
Here's a promotional photo of my indie band 'The Twisted Kites', when I was but 16 years old. I'm in the middle

Taking into account that this was 1996 , we made an album, got one track onto a regional young bands CD compilation. But the album is on cassette  I'll try and dig out the cd and send you "Shake hands with the Machine" - our single.

I have two projects. One is a solo project, called Hard Evening, Suburb! The other is eventually going to be a band, but for now consists of me and a lead guitarist. It is called Soft Morning, City!

I primarily play acoustic, vaguely folky stuff, though I sometimes get a bit experimental (I have two voice only discs... sort of sung poetry recitation).

                      links:
                      http://www.myspace.com/hardeveningsuburb
                      http://www.myspace.com/softmorningcity

I took down a bunch of stuff that used to be on the Soft Morning, City! page, but new songs will be up early next week. We just finished a new 5-song demo.

As for what I listen to... I have varied musical taste. Some of my favorite artists are Tom Waits, Neutral Milk Hotel, Jandek, Captain Beefheart, Aphex Twin, Godspeed You! Black Emperor (and associated projects), Bobb Trimble, Frog Eyes, The Magnetic Fields, Xiu Xiu, Throbbing Gristle, among others. I even get down on black metal from time to time.

If I had to pick a favorite though, I'd say Tom Waits and Jandek are tied for first in my book. However, my favorite album of all time is In The Aeroplane Over The Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel.
