    I have returned!

So, it was a long 2 months at sea, but I am back. It's going to take me a few days to catch up on all that's been going on around here, but I just wanted to say hi!

Welcome home! Thanks for keeping the shipping lanes open. Did you get to blast some somali pirates outta the water.

sidenote: I am ex-navy. Was an "AT2" in a P-3c squadron. We use to chase you guys around, and drop sonobouys on your boats.

                Welcome back, man!

MN_Snuser: My dad was an AE; served in P3 squadrons for most of his career. I grew up around those things. 8) I had a chance to work on one myself when we had a Canadian P3 squadron come through when I was in. I remember I worked on a taxi light for them, and after I repaired it and sent it back to them, they came to my shop and gave me a fifth of scotch as thanks. Totally awesome of them.

I hear the P3's are finally being phased out....I'll be sad to see them go.

The P-3 community is fantastic. Most of the planes I worked on were older than me, LOL. The damm things were always broken. But I loved them. IIRC, they are replacing them with a boeing 737. It's an end of an era.
