In Norway I knew loads of people that did it. In England I only know two people, both of which I introduced to it. One is a girl and one is a guy although I feel a little guilty because they didn't even smoke in the first place :?
Most smokers I have tried to give it to complain about the smell/taste/burning sensation....closed minded fools!

That is weird man...
Two non-smokers like it right away and take it up whereas smokers deride it? Damn stupid fools. (Never mind that the same thing happened to me. 2 NON-smoking friends took some without hesitation whereas smokers balked at the thought.)
You know, I actually think it has more to do with people's overall sense of adventure. When you're a young teenager you think you're indestructible and can take on the world. Naturally you experiment and -one thing leading to another- you take up smoking before you know it. (Scandinavian kids skip the whole smoking stuff and go straight to snusing. Hence their aversion to cigs.)
Once you're older you're not as inclined to stray into unknown territory.
Many youngsters also wear stupid clothes just to stand out. Maybe older folks also think about how they'll look with a fat lip and snus on their teeth?
I also compare it to people who love to eat stuff they don't know and have never had before (like me!!). And people who confine their life-long culinary repertoire to about 20 safe, tried-and-tested ingredients. They just don't know what they're missing.
I take away my disappointment of folks like this by convincing myself that conservative consumers keep demand and thus *prices* for most things low.
*kaching* my 2ยข

I don't know anybody that uses snus on a regular basis. One of my friends got into it a little bit (he'll sometimes have one when I'm having, or when we're in class together he'll have one) but he still prefers cigarettes. He's a heavy smoker and his cough is pretty bad sometimes. I wish he had taken to snus with greater enthusiasm.
I also gave a portion to another of my friends and he liked the taste, but the nicotine was too much for him. He's a smoker, but only on occasion. He was curious, so I let him have a go at it and he had to spit it out after about ten minutes and lie down for a moment. It made for a good laugh.
However, there is a girl in one of my classes that knows about the stuff. Her sister lived in Sweden for a while and told her all about it. Thus when said girl in my class and I hung out for the first time, I didn't have to give the whole explanation to her. And she didn't think me throwing in a portion was gross.

I wouldn't say a regular basis, but the guy who introduced me to snus is on the same development team that I am. I got way into snus and quit smoking, but the last I heard, he'd made one order and was still thinking about it.
That part of the team just moved to new offices where smoking is absolutely under no circumstances allowed, though, so maybe his interest will pick up.

I don't know anyone that uses snus. I don't know many smokers at all. The few that i do know think it's chewing tobacco no matter what i say about it. Most of the guys i know use american chewing tobacco such as Skoal and Red Man. I got a couple of them to try it but they didn't take to it very well.
I never offer snus to none tobacco users btw. I love snus and i've come to terms with the fact that i'm a drug addict and probably will be for the rest of my life. (Nicotine is the only drug i use and abuse btw) I really don't want to be responsible for putting this monkey on anyone's back. I sleep easy at night knowing that i'm completely off the cigarettes (2 months now) and at least i'm using the safest form of tobacco that exists.

Only other person I know who uses snus is Soft Morning, City! who posts on this forum and happens to live in the same city I do. We met in person a few weeks ago and he was kind enough to float me a few tins until my first shipment came. So I wouldn't have to buy any more Camel. Although I did have to break down and buy a can of Cope Pouches. Smoke-free since then!
A number of guys at my work are quitting smoking and I keep throwing snus at them but no one's particularly receptive. It really freaks my wife out, she won't have anything to do with it.
I gave a Lucky Strike White to my manager who is on Chantix and he had to spit it out after three minutes. Didn't mix well, I guess.. I feel bad for him, he's smoking 1-2 cigs a day and not enjoying them, I'm sucking on portions all day and loving every second of it!
