So who here plays video games?

I myself used to play Counter-Strike for about 5 years.

Now I've been playing Xbox 360 for a while.
Call Of Duty 4 is my main vice... but I also stray from time to time to various others... CoD:WaW, Halo 3, NBA2k9, Left 4 Dead... you name it, I probably have it.

I dont have a 360, though I've been considering it.

My favorite games are Guitar Hero and Tetris Worlds on PS2 (thats right, i'm old school)

I've also been playing this racing game called Burnout that you run into toher cars to win.. its great for aggression!!!

Started back in grade school with Bards Tale. Me and a friend would play that for hours on his commodore 64.

RGP type setting, wizards and warlocks, evil monsters..... I am so there!

Of course I am a well adjusted business professional now with a wife and 3 kids so play time is cut drastically. The upside to that is that I have my kids level my World of Warcraft characters :P

I'm a pc gamer mostly, but I've played lots of different consoles too. I tend to avoid the MMORPGS mostly, but I've been known to mess about into some of the free ones, but I usually don't play them for long.

i used to be a big time gamer when i wasn't in debates or writing essays for clas(big nerd lol)

haven't played WoW in awhile...used to play tibia in middle school...now my favorites are..Guitar Hero...Ghost recon, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell(i like shooters if you cant tell),tekken,madden every now and then...as far as consoles go...i used to have a 360..it burnt out from layin to much so now i have a ps2,game cube,n64,and a psp...

I don't have Xbox live right now :cry: . Too poor. But my favorite games in order are.... Gears of war 2, Farcry Instinct Predator (the first), Army of Two, and NCAA Football.

Hmmm, wow. I used to be real big into wow. Was actually considering starting up my account again, but I hesitate because I cannot control my play-time, so wow pretty much becomes my life when I am playing. The worst thing is that my girlfriend gets addicted to it as well, so I don't even have her to help control how long I play.

I'm PC only these days. I was a bit of a console collector, though. I still have a bunch stored away:

-Original Nintendo with a working R.O.B.B. the robot
-Super Nintendo
-Sega Master System
-Sega Genesis
-Sega Saturn
-Sega CD
-Atari 2600
-Goldstar 3DO (bought it new; you don't even want to know what I paid for it)
-Original Playstation (the last console I bought)
-Various handhelds

Consoles I used to have and wish I still did:

-TurboGrafx 16
-Atari Lynx
-Super Famicon (Japanese Super Nintendo)

I had the chance years ago to pick up a Neo-Geo for an awesome price; I can kick myself for not scraping up the money for that one. Those things STILL go for a shitload...

I play the occasional game, but not as much as I used to. I still play Unreal Tournament 2004 frequently. I'm Zoë(Co30) there.

Honestly, I think I had more fun with the Atari than any of the others....probably since I was still a kid when I first got it. I played the shit out of my dad's Commodore 64, too.

As far as usage, the 3DO and Playstation got the most. I bought those while in the Navy, and they were pretty much used every day. I let my barracks roomate use the 3DO when he went on westpac, and it was on in his shop 24-7; the day shift would be playing it, then the night shift would come on and take over. They burned out the motor within 3 months; I'm surprised it lasted that long. :shock: I sent it back to 3DO and they shipped me a new one, so I was happy...even though I don't think I ever bothered to play it since I bought the Playstation shortly after...

when the ps2 came out i went through about 5 in one year...i used to play non stop and would burn the motor out within atleast 2 months
