I don't own that particular one. I always just used a large hairbrush or broad wooden spoon. Either one works wonders, but the dimensions of that paddle was 11" x 3". I'm going to guess that's not including the handle.

Use sturdy wood (oak), and make sure to sand all edges to a nice smooth rounding. Sharp edges are BAD when the thing is used. If that's too large, then feel free to shave off an inch or two to your liking.
