getsnus ships via UPS?

I posted this same issue with Getsnus a while back.

My orders had been arriving really quick by US mail, generally to CA in 3 days.
Obviously I really liked getting it so quickly.

My past 3 orders have arrived by UPS twice and the 3rd one priority.

Really weird :roll:

That being the case with Getsnus.......Now I just order from Northener, they have everything I like and it's always very fresh

If Getsnus went back to their 3 day arrival method, I would share my business with them

Thanks for the reply ladysnus. I am in Ca as well. I have put my last two in with northerner (since joining this forum there are a million different kinds that I want to try). How long do your northerner orders take to get to you in So Cal? I had one take 5 business days and another take 7.

Northern orders are interesting. I ordered on the 13 and that ones still not here.

Today I received 2 other orders that I placed on the 16th.

Another order, I used UPS because it had my ictool and icetool box along with snus and I wanted it fast. It took 3 days.

Snus is so new to California, at least here in San Diego.

Where do you live?

I live in Fremont (SF bay area) and work in SF. We have had snus in a few of the cigars shops for about half a year or so in SF but only recently have the camels been around everywhere (7-11's and gas stations) which is getting a lot of interest I have noticed.

I wanted to add that I sent a note to the customer service dept at getsnus and they replied very quickly. They stated that if I wanted to make sure that USPS was used I could call in my order and request the shipping method of my choice. Good to know.

Glad you contacted Getsnus.

They are super friendly with good customer service.

They need to list their shipping service so people won't be disappointed or even better, give a choice at checkout.

Camal snus starting popping up all over the place a month ago here.

I luckily found out about the real snus in a RYO forum and ended up quiting smoking after 24 yrs of smoking

My orders with getsnus have so far been, that if I spend 50$ to get the free shipping they come ups. If I spend less than that they come usps. Don't know if that is the rule they follow but that has been my experiance.

My last order was the free shipping deal and was sent UPS, also. It took about as long as an average order from Buysnus.

I don't mind the wait, but I don't like using UPS for anything because they always show up when nobody's home. :x

Yes they do, never fails. Fortunately they just put it on the porch for me, but when I lived in an apartment it was a definite pain in the butt. In my experience though ups only adds 1 day to shipping.

It takes away the surprise of getting an order in though because I always know the exact day it will arrive.

The piece I didn't like about UPS was that you could watch it go to a center and then sit over the weekend before moving on on Monday :cry:

UPS guys know that they can't leave shit laying around in my neighborhood; it would be gone in less than five minutes. :P I've actually chased one of the drivers down; he was leaving just as I was pulling up to my parking spot.

Picking up packages at the hub is the worst part; the employees are all indifferent and they actually have the balls to kick and bounce your package around right in front of you. I can only guess what they're doing with it in the back room. :x

I order from Getsnus quite regularly for my main 3 or 4, and hit up buysnus and northerner every now and again for something new. In my experience, 3 days is the quickest and 5 days is the slowest that I've had from get snus. I really like the free UPS on orders over $50. less of a chance of the 14+ day delays that it can get from overseas, no chance of customs. and i can track it...

mmm its strange I always get my snus from Northerner, up until the last delivery it always came Royal Mail UK, but this time UPS, no quicker,
but UPS less reliable with delivery time. So long as your supply is enough,
and u store in freezer, I take the slowest and cheapest option.

I live in Los Angeles California and I ordered my snus last wednesday and still have yet to see it and its monday. northerner took 2 weeks.
