A few years ago there was a billboard truck that drove around Madison usually advertising a jewelry store. This greatly upset the liberals on the city council who tried to pass a ban on vehicles who's sole purpose was for advertising.
I had read about the proposed ban in the papers, and while flipping through the channels one day I landed on the cable access channel that was broadcasting the city council discussion on the ban. After about an hour or so, it looked like the ban was going to easily pass (that truck is pretty damn annoying). Then, right before the vote, one of the pro-business aldermen piped up and said "What about the Weinermobile? This ban would make driving the Weinermobile illegal!"
A few minutes later the ban was heavily voted down!

OH I wish I was an Oscar Meyer weiner........ and everyone would be in love with me. And if I were an Oscar Meyer weiner...........I have to run fast from Mr. X quickly.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

The first weinermoblie pictured looks like one of the original restored. The second one with the windows is a current model. They use this one to give "lucky kids" the ride of their lives in promotions and such. Thats why it has windows. Both are built on GM chassis.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
