Thanks Xobeloot. I just found your post and took a look at your benchmade for the nth time.

I reckon I am more of a collector, I will never use this knife for chopping wood, camping functions, etc., and that is why I got the cheap byrd. I have convinced myself that the happiness factor would be higher with the black one.
