Nice collection. My very first benchmade should be here tomorrow(fingers crossed).I will post some pictures when I get it. Are you a collector keeping your knives nib or carry and use them all?

Mine is exactly like lucky sealy's. Let me check quick..... Benchmade Mini Griptilian Knife Tanto Part Serratd 557S.

I already think I made a mistake getting the mini. My hands are average and maybe should've gone for a normal size Griptilian. Well, I'll know tomorrow.

I'd say full size grip, the mini is no joke though, what it lacks in size it makes up for in being a sweet backup knife.

fyi, the benchmade site is up again.

Skimo just noticed your location. Norman? I lived there for almost 6 years in the late 80s. Gotta love OU, a sooner?

I'm Alaskan, ex-military... I wish I could *boom* the sooners.

I'm not that much into college football.

I was never a fan, they were just too much but I liked Norman. So you think the mini is ok?

                    mainly as a backup knife.

there are so many nice larger BMs out there, I like having the cutting power of a bigger blade.

I have couple of backup knives, if you can call them backup. I think I am going to sell it and buy the real thing if it is too small. Or maybe keep it and buy the bigger one. The wife is getting a little edgy as I have bought 4 knives in 2 weeks.

hehe, you can probably find a full size grip pretty cheap at knifeworks.com.

just give 'em a phone call and ask for the price, guaranteed good deals there.

I Will check knifeworks.com after dinner and will buy one if the price is right. I Think Xobeloot paid $80 for his full size bm. Skimo, are you living in Norman now?

I was in Midwest City many times. Nice little town and close to Norman. I have this wish to get back there for a week and visit all the places I knew before. Damn memories.
