New snus user here!

Hi everyone! im still a novice snus user (2 weeks) but since i feel in love with it ive been visiting these forums for alot of good reading. whether its delivery times, or peoples different tastes, its all been good and everyone here is really nice and open minded. I hope to be a good member amongst you all! I started snus with camel. Then tried general from a cigar shop, and now im waiting for my buysnus.com package for my THUNDER! : ) Well sorry for the rambling, but i just wanted to introduce myself (names snussy) :lol: Feel free to repond anyway you like, but make sure at least you put your favorite snus brand in your response too! I want to know what to try later with my other orders!
I must say i have liked all the snus ive tried, which is only camel (both flavors) and general original and portion)
obviously camel doesnt give me the nic i need but is a good training wheel snus or an emergency snus when times get rough.

Ok enough! Ok one more thing, ive been trying to quit smoking for years (ive smoked for 8 years) even tried chantix. But after trying snus its like its not even hard anymore. ciggerette free for 2 weeks! yey me!

sorry for the large intro post. im just so darn excited about snus.

one of the best things about snus is the experience of trying new brands. which is why these forums are a big help. Whether i read 'cat piss' or greatness its all good. i didnt like general the first pouch, but of course, it grew on me!

My favorite right now is anything General.

Welcome. I'm coming off the smokes also. Been 2 days so far without it. I started off the same way you did with Camel. I bought a starter kit and was rather surprised at first. After a few days I've learned to enjoy the flavors of the ones I've tried.

So far, General White Portion is my fave. Gote Rape and Catch Eucalyptus come in a close 2nd. Thunder ES packs a nice full bodied flavor with a relaxing nic hit.

Welcome. In my experience it doesn't get any easier to quit cigs than with snus. When I converted over, it didn't take long before I would smoke a cig and while I was smoking it, I could think about nothing other than having a snus.

Thanks for the welcome! : ) While i do believe snus could be just as hard to quit as cigerettes, no matter what i tried i couldnt quit cigs. I think just putting it to your mouth and taking a puff while going outside for some air was the habit that was toughest to break. even chantix, that actually works for the cravings wasnt able to get me out of the need to want to puff. But snus since day 1 has gave me no need to do so. of course its the nic fix, but snus is serious in my opinion the easiest way to quit smoking. im sure its hard to quit snus, but it seems easier to me to not go nuts and walk to the grocery store 20 mins there and 20 mins back in an instant just for a puff. when i was out of snus i thought to myself i could go pick some up whenever i find myself in the area again, which would be in 7 hours. But this is just me. Plus one benefit from snusing is that its safer than cigs. while its still "unhealthly" i dont feel bad about it like i did about cigs. as i get older, (27)the feeling that im going to die soon from cigs always lingered. the guilt! But snusing makes me feel more comfortable since its waaay safer and no more lung damage!

Its a good sign you like General. Also snus was better on the lungs for me.
