US Smokeless Website

I know of a few folks on here still use a pinch of American smokeless tobacco now and then. I see that US Smokeless has re-designed their website. It has much more information on it. Including ingredients, and nicotine content for their products. Very interesting.

One of my favorite flavored dips is Skoal Vanilla blend...

Ingredients:
* Water
* Tobacco
* Salt (Sodium Chloride)
* Natural and Artificial Flavors
* Sodium Citrate
* Ammonium Chloride
* Ammonium Carbonate
* Propylene Glycol
* Sodium Carbonate
* Sodium Saccharin

Sounds pretty scary to me.

* Ammonium Carbonate- I think for the same reason as above, not used in snus
* Propylene Glycol-E1520, same as snus
* Sodium Carbonate=E500, same as snus
* Sodium Saccharin, in some snus'(probably)

Sounds pretty scary to me.

This list of ingredients is not as bad as I would have thought, IMO.

You'll have to do your own research on that, but I've had European salmiak candy that has ammonium chloride(gives it a pungent flavor). I don't think it's bad for you.
