    American Stonehenge:Monumental Post-Apocalypse Instructions

The Georgia Guidestones may be the most enigmatic monument in the US: huge slabs of granite, inscribed with directions for rebuilding civilization after the apocalypse. Only one man knows who created them—and he's not talking.

I want to know who did this. Pretty cool concept tho.

Dam, that's like something out of a movie. Stranger walks in, spends a fortune to construct something huge and a bit odd, then disappears. Really cool though.

Is there a receipe for Soylant Green?
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

          That was a great movie!

This is what it says on those blocks. I have heard that 500,000,000 number before but do not know why?

          ▪ Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
          ▪ Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.
          ▪ Unite humanity with a living new language.
          ▪ Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason.
          ▪ Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
          ▪ Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
          ▪ Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
          ▪ Balance personal rights with social duties.
          ▪ Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.
          ▪ Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature.

You forgot to mention that on the very bottom of each block there is a "CE" and the words "Made in China".

Well it seems a lot of people think its satanists who erected it but it seems to embodie more of a message of peace than anything. I could see how the keep the population under 500,000,000 thing would get people but I mean it is kinda true that we are sort of outgrowing the planet since we are living longer. But theres no correct way to get rid of people so I dunno.

Kind of an odd story though. Well if the world ends at least I know to start heading east to georgia lol

This is actually about 45 minutes from where I live, and I have been to it several times. If you speak to the locals there, they seem to think that some "banking family", like the Rockefellers, Bilderbergers, et. al., paid to commission the stones. It seems to be pretty hush hush and pretty anonymous. They are cool to see, but there is a lot of lore that surrounds them that simply isnt true. I have never seen bats fly around them, and supposedly clouds will not form over them, but I have been to them when it was very overcast. Theyre out in the middle of farm country, and an EXTREMELY odd place to be located.

I had never heard about this before. Now that I have, I really want to see them in person. Thanks for the post existone. I love anonymous art projects, especially when they seem to piss off the normals as much as this.

Don't worry about never hearing about this....I am from Elberton! As in born and raised. Lived there for close to 7 years and my family is still from around those parts and I have never heard of this. I guess it just wasn't ever brought up but damn that is weird. Especially something like that from your home town. This is actually freaking me out a little to tell you the truth.

I dont think it pisses anyone off. Ive never talked to anyone that is angry about it. Its just NWO crap, if you read the stones.

I dont see how a message of protect the earth and treat everyone fairly with just courts and dont have petty laws is soemthing the NWO would want their. Why would the NWO put that there if they are some elitist group who wants everything to themselves, the message on the stones or the diversity of languages in the writings doesnt seem to make sense if it was made by elitists.

It promotes eugenics/population reduction and a world court. Those are the 2 that just caught my eye.

I've heard several times that 1000 million humans are the largest number that can naturally survive without destroying the earth in the long run.

At the moment there are 6000 million humans on the earth and they only survive because of an unnatural agriculture that will sooner or later lead to a catastrophe. A farmer could certainly say more, but I think that a great part of the soil around the world is already dead (no natural fertilisation possible anymore because useful microbes are killed and the soil overall is poisoned for quite a long time) and can only be farmed by adding artificial fertilizers which actually are scarce in the long run. And that only accounts for the basic nutrition, not for everything else that humans need or do.

This number of 500 millions is maybe used to be o the safe side.

The ancient greek philosophers already feared that the earth is overstrained - at a time when approx. 200 or 300 million people were living on the earth, without modern technology, so it's not an unusual thought in the first place and it's certainly no nonsense.

                            Cheers!

I don't think it supports population reduction. The whole intent of the piece seems to be a set of suggestions for people living in the aftermath of some horrible catastrophe that wipes out a majority of the global population. I think it supports future population limiting in the event of a catastrophe. Not such a bad idea, really. You can't deny that the earth would be in better shape if there weren't so many people living on it.*

*Note: I am not for the thinning out of earth's current population. I am just stating a simple truth. The earth would be better off without us.
