    Free Music For Yer Ears!

Sorry to self-promote, but I figured at least some of you might be interested in this.

Visit my Myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/hardeveningsuburb) and listen to the sound samples. If you like anything you hear, send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send you the complete album of your choice in zipped mp3 format.

You can choose from any of the following releases:

    (NN001) Slim Volume-Downtrodden a'capella tracks recorded to 4-track in a tile bathroom.

(NN002) Zzyzx-A reissue of my solo debut, originally self-released in a limited quantity in winter of 2005. Recorded to 4-track in my bedroom in my parents' house when I was 16/17. Vocals and acoustic guitar.

(NN003) Live At AAA Electra 99-A recording of a set that I played at the AAA Electra 99 Co-Op Art Gallery, Museum, and Performance Space on June 30th of 2006. Vocals and acoustic guitar. Includes a cover of "Bata Motel" by Crass!

(NN004) Alphabet District-Professionally recorded in late 2007 while in Portland, Oregon. Vocals and acoustic guitar. This is my most immediately accessible release.

(NN005) So Long Songs-Recorded to 4-track shortly before leaving Portland for Texas. Vocals and acoustic guitar.

(NN006) The Dust They Leave-Highly melodic, melancholy tunes recorded to 4-track between February and March of 2009. This is (for the most part) the most accessible thing to ever to come out of my 4-track.

If I send you an album and you like what you hear and want to hear more, just let me know. I'll send you any of those six albums as long as you message me prior to May 16th.

Thanks for reading. I appreciate it.

Glad you like it, man. If you want one of the full albums, let me know. Digital copies are free. If you want the real thing, it's seven bucks per disc. Price includes shipping.

Another voice-only album will be available around the end of May (Carrot Cake Catharsis). Another acoustic/vocal album will be available sometime in summer(Basement City Room). More will follow. I have a backlog of at least five albums worth of material that I haven't recorded yet. Slowly plowing through it.

Did everyone who wants some of the music get some? If not, this week is your last chance for the free mp3s. I've decided to extend the cutoff date to May 24th.

                        Let me know.

Like the packaging almost as much as the tunes.

                          "....nicotine to suck on"

                          good work man.

I've been trying to decide which I like best to give a recommendation, but I can't honestly pick one. You won't miss on any of the albums with instrumentation. The A capella albums I think are more of an acquired taste. They're compelling, and stark, but not necessarily easy to listen to.

I highly recommend grabbing one while you have the chance. It's great hearing something new that didn't come out of the crap factory :^)
