    let me introduce myself

    hi everyone

    my name is benjamin, I'm from swizerland
    I'm 21 but I use snus since the age of 14 because it was really popular in my french ski team
    now I'm in geneva and I think I'm the only snuser 10 miles around
    I have to buy a disgusting snus at the french border in the only shop that sell it...
    I buy sometimes sweedish snus wich is the best in the world, especially the skruf stark los! but the prices are high because I have to pay a lot of extra taxes because swizerland is not in the EU
    I just find this forum and it's really cool to see other people sharing the same addiction

    Welcome to the forum!

    You mean Makla? Makla isn't snus, but sometimes vendors pretend so, just to sell more of that stuff. Makla is some kind of a traditional north african dip.

    It's another proof of my thesis, that the snus ban in the E.U., which was joined by Switzerland, as you know, has absolutely nothing to do with health politics. Makla, as well as german chewing tobacco and some other products, are presumably not as safe as snus, but can be purchased freely in some E.U.-countries, while snus is banned. Ridiculous!

    I doubt, that you pay more than E.U.-citizens. Just compare the prices at Northerner or Buysnus! I once had a little discussion with a Swiss member in a german snus-forum - and after comparing all prices, taxes and customs charges, he was quite amazed, that he - in fact - had to pay a little less than a german snuser.

    Cheers!

        Ben,
        I hate to break the news to you, but there's at least one other 'snuser' in Geneva - me
        Look out for the bike...
