Yup, more Global Warming info for alarmists to ignore.

Actually, a lot of companies are using the green movement to cut costs.

It is not to save the environment or to help introduce greener fuels. It is to get carbon taxes attached to farming, plastics, gasoline, oil, natural gas, etc etc etc.

Its not going to be a lot of money on each item, but if you think of the number of items made of plastic alone, that is a lot of money even in very small increments.

Where will this tax money go? Expansion of the empire or eco-friendly fuels?

The perfect way to steal money and people will even consent freely.

Well some are, for many though buying biodegradeable 70% post consumer stuff too serve food in and utensils etc cost a little more, and car companies are going to have to try to make things more efficient and these are all good things. I support going green I mean why not but I dont support halting an already stagnated economy by imposing new carbon offset taxes and cap and trade schemes etc that end up with us just spending more money.

Me too. We reuse plastics and have the cloth shopping bags and what have you. We started with trying to see how much money we could save and we somehow ended up being way more "green".

              You can always reenlist ;^)

Some people are cut out for military life. There's worse careers you could get into :^)

                naaah.
if I enlist, I will end up doing something completely different than what I did
las year. And a military life is not really something I'm cut out for.
I'll be forced to move too.
Just the thought of living in Settermoen for three years brings shivers down my back. I miss mostly the people, and the special enviroment you live in during that year.
It will forever be a nostalgic memory of youth as I get older, and since a lot of my friends ditched out of their service, it gives me bragging rights.
