    The world economy

Where do you think we are headed? Up? Down? Sideways?

There are so many derivatives out there that still have not been taken off of the books, unemployment continues to rise, trillions of dollars have been created out of thin air (inflation anyone?), banks continue to be taken over, and houses are still overvalued.......I think that the pile of manure keeps getting bigger along with the amount of perfume (politicians and media telling us everything is ok) that is needed to cover up the stench.

I think the economy is going to keep going downward for a while before stabilizing. What will cause it to stabilize, I haven't a clue, since no one's come up with a real answer to that. It took a world war for the US to pull out of something like this, but even that caused some issues later down the road once wartime production dropped. If you look through history the US has always had cycles of ups and downs, but no real way of stabilizing it. Hell, I could say the same for a lot of other countries too.

It will continue to decline in the US until most of the banks have been absorbed (or enslaved via bailouts) by the federal reserve.

I have heard that the global elite have been planning to eventually bring us out of this economic decline and bring us to a high point like back in the 90's. First the Federal Reserve will suck up as much as it can. The reason they will bring the economy back up to a high point is to get the rest of the people (that still have money) to invest it in housing and such. After they lure a ton of more people in, the Federal Reserve and the Global Elite will tear the economy down again like it is now, but worse. They want all the power. It's really not about money anymore for them, but about control over human lives. They simply want a New World Order ( One World Government).

Bills have been passed by Bush that will bring us into the American Union with Canada and Mexico and we will have a single currency called the Amero.

Some of you may think this sound pretty outrageous, but i ask you to do your own research. I for one know in my heart that 9/11 was an Inside Job and the Global Elite is striving for World Domination.

Sorry for the rant. Just a touchy subject

I don't believe that there is any possible way that 9/11 wasn't an inside job! Do they expect us believe that all those govennment agencies just happened to drop the ball on that day? And it severely pisses me off that radical right wing Christian fanatics like my parents won't even entertain the notion that it WAS an inside job, and call me a conspiracy nut! Sorry...that was off subject! I believe the economy is going to nose dive until the NWO is established. God how Bush pisses me off! He's either the ignorant puppet that he seemed, or a damn fine actor! All the crap that his administration allowed to happen is the main reason we are in this mess! It was certainly sneaky how he so slyly used 9/11 to get us back in Iraq, and spend money like it grows on trees!

Sorry about my crazy rambling, but I could go on for days on this subject! Slydel, I think you stirred up a hornet's nest, but I can't wait to see other's opinions!

              Badfish74,

              Thank you for the information.

If the economy does improve before a much larger decline I plan on buying gold (in hand of course) like it is going out of style. I just wish I had purchase a bunch when it was $300 an ounce!

This subject has a little similarity to global warming in that even if the economy or global warming is not going to completely destroy the world we might as well be prepared. Ohh well, the politicians will take care of us all won't they? They know best and are the most informed people in the world. Well except maybe Barney Frank and a few others that thought everybody should be able to afford their own homes, making loans easy to get, causing home values to skyrocket, making housing unaffordable again, and then destroying the US economy in the process (partly the fault of large banks and the creation of derivatives for housing, but they were forced to make these loans because if they did not they were being racist-see NYTimes article from the 90's). Treason anyone?

What I think is that the market was similar right before the depression however I dont feel we will have another depression in todays age. I do think we will in 10 years when all this stim money that was monatized and added into the system turns to inflation and the world dumps our dollar leaving it worthless which they already have started doing this year.

I think we havn't hit bottom yet. Houses still need to adjust, people need to find homes = it will average out eventualy like ti always does.

I cannot believe the fed gov spent all this money trying to bail everyone out, and now they are still failing, laying people off, outsourcing jobs and filing for bankruptcy... Yet our money is gone forever now. Great plan that turned out to be.

Conversely, do you believe that the government including the thousands of people at multiple intelligence agencies, airports, fed gov, firefighters etc were all in on this and no one has said a word? Come on now.

It was a little fishy but most big events are, and like most big events the truth will never come out here. Dont stick to just one opinion because both sides for/against inside job theory have good points.

The reason I lean towards not inside job is because soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many of the arguments for inside job/explosion/laser beam etc have been blown out of the water.

At best the conspiracy I believe is that flight that crashed due to "heroic passengers" was probably shot down, as it should have been, and that was covered up, and perhaps once ti started happening they kinda let it happen because they knew they could benefit it, not that they engineered it.
