Also, do all snuffs tend to give one a runny nose, or is it mainly menthols that bring out that unattractive tendency?

Paradoxically menthols can leave your nose feeling stuffy after you use them. You'll get the initial clearing sensation, a runny nose, and then it'll feel stuffed up(for me at least). I enjoy the menthols, so it's just the cost of doing business.

Some non menthol snuffs also make my nose burn. They're just a little more "bitey" than the others. All the Gawith Hoggarth snuffs are like that for me, as well as individual blends from every company I've had so far.
