Greetings all...

I just joined, and wanted to thank you for all the information in this forum. I recently stopped smoking, and missed the nicotine - patches, and inhalator just didn't do the trick for me.

I haven't smoked for 8 days now - and hope that snus will keep it that way

Hi Dennis - congratulations on quitting! I quit cigarettes 45 days ago when I started to use snus. I have not had the least desire to smoke another cigarette.

I'm sure you will have the same experience as I did. Snus is a wonderful experience as you will find out. So many varieties and flavours, it will take you quite a while to try them all and settle on a favourite.

I must say though, I am surprised that folks from Denmark are discovering a product that originates from a place so very close-by like Sweden!?
Haven't the Danes been in touch with this for ages?

Quitting cigarettes entirely is no problem with snus. I had only one backslide, 6 weeks after I had begun snusing and well, this last cigarette just tasted awful. That was 9 months ago and I simply say: never again!

snus is a good way of stop smoking if absolutely can't live without
master nicotine. :lol:
it isn't good for you but it is a least a good deal better than smoking.

Welcome dennisdk! Good luck on the quitting smoking, I am not as strong as some of the guys here and still have a few smokes a day, but that number is growing less and less as time passes. Hope you enjoy your stay on the forum! The more the merrier!

(And Craig, Ron Paul is awesome! I think that he is what this total mess of a 'superpower' needs to kick a revolution (or de-evolution) in gear... too bad he won't get the Republican nomination - maybe we should start a Ron Paul thread!)
