The Matrix trilogy is a disclosing work of art that differs from most of the films of today in that it is open to intense discussion and interpretation given the many crucial themes that underlie the series. Indeed, the Wachowski brothers invited famed philosophers Ken Wilber and Cornel West to provide commentary and insight on the films that dig deeper than the surface commentary movie critics often provide.
